A German electronics retailer has reportedly created an internal inventory list that offers Wi-Fi versions of Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad Mini in 16 different models. According to the list, an entry-level and Wi-Fi-only tablet with 8 gigabytes of capacity will be available for 249 euros, about $320 after a straightforward currency conversion. The list, reportedly from retail chain Media Markt, was published by the German blog Schimanke.
According to the list, the tablet will also be available in 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB, and with or without cellular connectivity. The highest-end version, a 64 GB model with cellular options, is listed at 649 euro. According to Apple Insider, an 8 GB model with cellular data is listed at the same price as a 16 GB Wi-Fi-only model, suggesting possible price point overlaps.

The full-size third-generation iPad starts at $499 for a 16GB Wi-Fi model, while the basic 16 GB model of the iPad 2 sells for $399.
The rumored 7.85-inch iPad Mini is expected to be announced by Apple this month, with the latest reports suggesting it may be unveiled at a media event on October 23. The tablet is expected to be Apple’s trump card against the cheaper new tablets from Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) and Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), among others, and help the iPad maintain its domination of the tablet market.
