Of course, someone who has described themselves as the “King of All Media” has worked in other different areas of the business besides just radio. Stern is, in fact, a television personality, producer, author, actor, and photographer as well.

In 1993, he signed a $1 million deal with Simon & Schuster to publish his first book Private Parts. Three years later, the book was adapted into a film which Stern himself starred in. Private Parts sold more than $40 million in movie tickets. He also signed a $3 million advance for his second book, Miss America, which was published through ReganBooks in 1995.

Over the years, Stern continued to build his brand and worked on other various films and television projects. He initially took up photography as a hobby and in 2011, started his own his company called Conlon Road Photography. Later that year, he replaced Piers Morgan as a judge on the hit NBC show America’s Got Talent. His reported salary for AGT was $15 million per year. Stern left the show in 2015 at the end of its 10th season.

Stern has three children with his first wife, Alison Berns. They divorced in 2001 and he married his second wife, model Beth Ostrosky, in 2008.
