As many actors have told us over the years, when you’re cast on a TV show, you’re essentially creating a family. The longer the series lasts, the stronger these bonds seem to get. Which would mean that the cast of One Tree Hill, which ran for nine seasons on the WB/CW, is super close, right? Let’s take a look at many of the times they’ve reunited over the years.

Sophia Bush welcomes Hilarie Burton to Twitter

Clothes Over Bros! Sophia Bush (Brooke Davis) welcomed her on-screen BFF Hilarie Burton (Peyton Sawyer) to the Twitterverse back in 2017. This is far from the only time these two have hung out — in fact, their friendship is downright legendary on social media.

The 2018 Lifetime movie

Yup, that’s right: A bunch of the old gang from Tree Hill got together for a Lifetime Christmas movie titled The Christmas Contract. Check out who all got together, including Burton, Danneel Ackles (Rachel Gatina), Antwon Tanner (“Skills” Taylor), and many more.

This recent charity reunion

Remember the Friends With Benefit concert that Peyton holds at TRIC in Season 3? Well, Friends With Benefit became a real charity, and in Feb. 2019, it held an event that brought a lot of the cast back together.

There were plenty of cute moments revealed all across the internet (much the way Brooke was when the time capsule was released in the benefit concert episode), but one of the most niche is this photo of Burton with Bryan Greenberg, who played her love interest, Jake, and actress Grace Holcomb, who starred as Jake’s daughter, Jenny (who is 15 now, in case you want to feel really old).

James Lafferty is acting with this recurring character from the show

Among those who joined the cast in the later years is Stephen Colletti — remember, Stephen from Laguna Beach? The actor portrayed Chase Adams, who started as a “Clean Teen” and ended the series as the owner of TRIC. He and James Lafferty, who played Nathan Scott throughout the series run, shot a pilot together, titled Everyone Is Doing Great. Though their characters weren’t exactly close on the show, it seems like they’re friends in real life.

… and Burton is hanging with a couple of others

Burton, as you can see, really likes doing Lifetime/Hallmark Holiday flicks. In fact, she’s currently filming one with Tyler Hilton (Chris Keller), who is pictured above with Burton and his wife, Megan Park (also an actress who you’ve probably seen in a TV movie about Christmas).

Naley 4eva

Yes, we all have our opinions about who Lucas should have ended up with (Team Brucas all the way here), but if there’s one thing we can agree on, it’s that Nathan and Haley Scott are the show’s OTP. Lafferty and Joy Lenz (Haley) reunited at an event, much to their fans’ delight.

There’s a weird connection between these two

Remember when Torrey DeVitto (Pretty Little Liars, Chicago Med) portrayed the creepy Nanny Carrie in Season 5 and 6? Well, fast-forward a decade, and she and Bush are a part of the same franchise. Though Bush left Chicago P.D. in 2017, she is thought to have briefly dated her on-screen beau, Jesse Lee Soffer, prior to her exit. And now, Soffer and DeVitto may be a couple.
