1 ‘Fuller House’ Scene Pretty Much Copied Stephanie’s ‘Full House’ Moment
Some things never change, especially when it comes to the Tanner Family. On the Netflix spinoff series Fuller House, that means recreating some iconic moments from the original sitcom. One moment with Stephanie, in particular, crashed onto this streaming platform.Ā
Stephanie crashed Joeyās car on the āHoney, I Broke the Houseā episode
Sitting in a car took a pretty bad turn for Stephanie Tanner ā literally. During the āHoney, I Broke the Houseā episode of Full House, Stephanie accidentally starts Joeyās brand new car thatās sitting in the backyard. She wants to listen to the radio, so she switches the gear shifter to āR.āĀ
Little does she know that the āRā stands for reverse, and would cause the car to go right through the kitchen window. Michelle Tanner wanders in and her jaw drops, prompting the iconic line, āthereās a car in the kitchen!ā
Youād think after crashing Joeyās car once, Stephanie wouldnāt do it again. On Fuller House, though, the character ends up needing the car and recreating the iconic scene from the original sitcom.
Stephanie crashed through the kitchen again on āFuller Houseā
Oh my flashback! Pretty much this exact same scene is recreated on the Netflix spinoff series, Fuller House, for the Thanksgiving episode, āCold Turkey.ā There, Danny, Joey, and Jesse return to the house for the holiday.Ā
The issue? Stephanie is in charge of cooking dinner and DJ doesnāt give up control that easily. After getting in an argument with DJ, Stephanie needs to go for a drive.Ā
With DJās car out of the house, Stephanie grabs Joeyās keys and gets into his car. She accidentally reverses, crashing right through the kitchen window ā again. After knocking over the dinner, she says, āIām in the house and Iām still in the car. Again.ā
The youngest of DJās three kids then wanders in to see the destruction. Tommy says Michelleās line, āthereās a car in the kitchen.ā Fortunately, Fernando is there to break up the tension, giving his rendition of the song āComing to Americaā in the living room.Ā
This wouldnāt be the first only time something crashed into the kitchen
The Full House kitchen has endured quite a bit of destruction. During one Full House episode, desperate to find a private place to talk, DJ and Steve hopped into a cement truck parked in the backyard.Ā
They didnāt know that the cement truck crashed through the kitchen window and started pouring out all over Dannyās clean floor. Thereās also been a few other references to the original series on Fuller House.Ā
One day when Ramona and the boys are looking through the stuff in the attic, they stumble upon Michelleās plush Rigby, Uncle Jesseās pink bunny, a Fred Flinstone costume, and Uncle Jesseās invention, the Sprayguard 2001.
Most episodes of Full House are available for streaming on Hulu. All five seasons of the Netflix original spinoff series, Fuller House, are available on the streaming platform, Netflix.Ā
