‘1000-Lb Sisters’: Fans Cheer on Amy Slaton and Slam Tammy Slaton After Watching Season 3 Trailer
Fans are gearing up for 1000-lb Sisters Season 3. Soon, Amy and Tammy Slaton will be back on our tv screens with all of their antics. Recently, TLC dropped the first trailer for the season. After watching, several fans have expressed extreme disdain for Tammy’s actions in the trailer. In contrast, fans are really rooting for Amy. Here’s why everyone is taking sides.
‘1000-lb Sisters’ Season 3 trailer
If the trailer is anything to go off of, this is going to be a busy season for the Slatons. In the preview, Tammy and Amy go on a trip with the rest of their siblings, which ends in Tammy getting into a number of arguments. But what seemed to shock fans the most was the rude way that Tammy treated Amy. At one point, Amy asks Tammy to stop recording so she can go get some medicine. Tammy refuses and mocks Amy. Later in the clip, Amy accuses Tammy of sinking in life like the Titanic.
Fans are rooting for Amy
Fans were quick to acknowledge how much growth Amy has had since season 1.
“The first season Amy got married and had her surgery- Season 2 she got pregnant and had a baby- Season 3 looks like she’s moved into a nice house and I wouldn’t be surprised she falls pregnant again…and well Tammy….every season nothing changes with her except more weight gain.” one fan commented on the trailer. “Very sad.”
And they were proud of how Amy finally stood up to Tammy in the clip.
“Can we just acknowledge how Amy (the QUEEN) finally stands up to Tammy’s manipulation and bullying?” one person wrote. “AND ON TOP OF THAT, she looks so much healthier, plus that HAIR is gorgeous! We stan Amy. Tammy is gonna find out really soon how hard life will be without people waiting on you hand and foot.”
“I’m so glad that Amy is FINALLY standing up for herself- how she’s managed to stand Tammy this long is beyond me,” one fan said.
“So proud of Amy, she’s taken so much,” another person added. “Tammy is not your responsibility girl.”
“Seeing Amy actually say something toward Tammy calling her stupid all the time, and her getting up and walking away was so satisfying,” one fan commented. “She’s not putting up with that sh*t anymore.”
Amanda gets fan approval
This season, viewers will be introduced to Amy and Tammy’s sister, Amanda. In the clip, Amanda and Tammy get into a number of arguments. And after seeing the preview, fans are already siding with Amanda over Tammy.
“I already like the sister Amanda,” one fan commented on YouTube. “She bout to gather Tammy all the way. Tammy got the right one. On another note, Amy’s baby is adorable.”
“1) Amy looks amazing. 2) I can already tell I’ll like Amanda,” another person commented. “Everyone’s treating Tammy with kiddy gloves and she’s not here for it.”
“I’m so proud of Amy,” one fan added. “And Amanda seems dope.”
‘1000-lb Sisters’ Season 3 will be hard
Though Amy has already gotten weight loss surgery, she hasn’t fully reached her goals quite yet. This season, she will have to balance getting healthy while raising her newborn baby Gage. Tammy will also have a number of trials this season. According to the season’s synopsis, she checks herself into a rehab facility to try and battle her food addiction.
1000-lb Sisters Season 3 premieres on Nov. 15.
