The CMT Music Awards are next week and fans are ready to feel “Country Again.” They’re the genre’s only fan-voted awards, so it’s sure to be a night of fan-favorite songs and artists alike. Here’s everything you need to know about the evening, including when the 2022 CMT Music Awards are on, how to watch, and who the nominees are.

When are the 2022 CMT Music Awards?

The CMT Music awards will take place LIVE on Monday, April 11 8:00-11:00 PM (LIVE ET/delayed PT). The evening will take place in Nashville at the historic Municipal Auditorium, as well as other various locations in and around the city.

Hosts of the evening are none other than Kelsea Ballerini and Anthony Mackie from Captain America.

Performers include: Mickey Guyton + Black Pumas, Old Dominion, Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Maren Morris + Ryan Hurd, Carly Pearce, Cole Swindell + Lainey Wilson, Keith Urban and The Judds.

Newer artists Priscilla Block, BRELAND, Jessie James Decker, Parker McCollum, Elvie Shane and Caitlyn Smith are slated to perform from the Ram Trucks Side Stage.

How to watch the CMT Awards

The 2022 CMT Awards mark the ceremony’s inaugural broadcast on CBS, where it’ll show live at 8 PM ET. The evening will also be available on live-stream and on-demand on Paramount+. Then, on April 15 at 8 – 11:30 PM, CMT will air an extended cut of the show with an additional 30 minutes of new performances and bonus content.

“The biggest and best moments in music are coming to CBS this April,” said Jack Sussman, Executive Vice President of Specials, Music, Live Events and Alternative Programming at CBS, as reported by Parade. “The CMT brand is preeminent in the world of country music, and we are thrilled that their team was able to coordinate a new date to bring this marquee event for television to CBS, and maximize the power of the ViacomCBS universe behind it.”
