The Young and the Restless star Melissa Ordway and General Hospital‘s Kelly Thiebaud earned their first nominations. Rounding out the category is two-time winner Nancy Lee Grahn and Stacy Haiduk.

The younger Performer category is a tough race

All the acting categories for the 2022 Daytime Emmys are a tough race, but the Younger Performer may be one too close to call. However, she’ll have to beat out the General Hospital trio of Nicholas Chavez, William Lipton, and Sydney Mikayla. Also, Lindsay Arnold from Days of Our Lives put in a remarkable performance as Allie.

As for Guest Performer, Ted King and Naomi Matsuda earned noms for their work on The Bold and the Beautiful. Meanwhile, General Hospital‘s Robert Gossett and Days of Our Lives Michael Lowry earned nods. Rounding out the category is The Young and the Restless’ Ptosha Storey.

There were a lot of shockers in the nominations, and there will be plenty more surprises come Emmy night. Who do you think will walk away a winner on June 24?
