3 Things to Know About Audrina Patridge’s New Man, Sean Stewart Who’ll Be on ‘The Hills: New Beginnings’
Season 2 of The Hills: New Beginnings is back in production. The cast will look a little different since Stephanie Pratt and Mischa Barton won’t be returning. Audrina Patridge is dating Sean Stewart.
He’s reportedly appearing on the show next season, according to Page Six. Here are three things to know about him before the new season.
1. Sean Stewart is Rod Stewart’s son
The cast is full of people who are children of famous people like Brody Jenner and Brandon Lee. Stewart is going to fit right in given he is the oldest son of singer, Rod Stewart.
“My dad and I have always had a great relationship,” he told OK! “We talk almost every single day and hang out when he’s in town. We have breakfast and do father and son stuff, like play soccer. I’m actually a very good soccer player. I could show David Beckham a few things.”
He is one of eight of Stewart’s children. His mother is actor Alana Stewart, who acted in small roles. She also hosted a talk show with her ex-husband, George Hamilton called George & Alana.
2. He appeared on reality TV before
Stewart previously appeared on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in 2008. He talked about his history of using heroin and prescription drugs.
Stewart explained to OK! why he decided to do the show. “I was sober before I went in there and I haven’t really done drugs in years,” he said. “It was more for me to go on and just help others out and deal with some other issues in my life that I have to deal with.”
His family later got their own reality show, Stewarts & Hamiltons. It lasted for just one season in 2015. The former reality star has also worked by starting a clothing line called Dirty Weekend, and his father modeled for it.
3. He has been arrested in the past
He has also been arrested multiple times. Stewart was accused of assaulting a man outside of a restaurant in 2001. He later pled no contest to felony assault and was sentenced 90 days in jail, according to the New York Post.
Stewart was later arrested in 2015 for getting on a luggage carousel in an airport and riding it to a place that was off limits to passengers. “There wasn’t any like foul play or illegal behavior, it was just me taking a joke a little too far,” he told Daily Mail.
He also made headlines with his father in 2019. Sean was accused of pushing a security guard back, and Rod was accused of striking a security guard. They entered a plea of not guilty to a simple battery charge, according to The Palm Beach Post.
Patridge and Stewart haven’t said anything publicly about their relationship. It looks like fans will learn more about it on the show.
