Sometimes people speak out against a boss after they leave a job. Andy Cohen is sort of a boss of many reality stars given he’s the executive producer of the Real Housewives franchise. There are four former housewives who made it known they weren’t happy with him after their exits.

1. Danielle Staub

Danielle Staub has appeared on five seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Her last season was being a “friend” on season 10.

She made an Instagram post afterward against Cohen claiming he convinced the co-stars to start drama with her. “They were being asked to do certain things behind my back that they were not willing to do,” she said in an audio clip from her podcast. “I didn’t find that out. I was the last to know until the seasons aired.”

Staub wrote in the caption of the post, “Now that you are a parent I’d hoped you would see some of the pain you caused my family, even when I left the show to protect my young children, you mocked me repeatedly defaming me and yet I still continued to give you over a decade to do right by me and mine! Now it’s time you understand that ‘for every action there is a reaction.'”

Tamra Judge

Tamra Judge appeared on The Real Housewives of Orange County from season 3 – 14. She recently spoke out against Cohen after she was fired.

“One thing they said to each one of my friends who were younger … they want to have younger housewives,” Judge said on the Behind the Velvet Rope podcast. “I thought, well that’s interesting and then it shows. The ones they’ve hired have all been younger. So, I do think there’s some truth to that.”

Cohen later denied this claim on Brandi Glanville’s podcast, Unfiltered. “Ramona [Singer] is older than Vicki [Gunvalson]. If you look at the women on our shows, there are a lot of women that are really thriving in their 50s and late 50s. Yeah, no. I don’t care for that [comment],” he said.

The talk show host gave another reason for the change. He claimed “the show needed some new air.”

Nene Leakes

Nene Leakes was on The Real Housewives of Atlanta from season 1-7. She then returned for season 10 and left again after 12.

Cohen had Wendy Williams on as a guest for Watch What Happens Live. Leakes wasn’t happy because Williams said she didn’t know what Leakes will do for money now she’s not on the show.

“I will ALWAYS eat and eat good! Believe that. I have ALWAYS believed in multiple streams of income so the leakes [sic] are good you ole cocaine head and you ole racist. No one knew you until YOU knew me. Remember I’m [sic] ICON. Don’t forget,” she tweeted on Sept. 28.

She later tweeted, “So much you guys just don’t know! I’m going to bed now! The systemic racism is greater than you will ever know.”

Camille Meyer

Camille Meyer was a cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from on seasons 1 and 2. A fan once asked on Twitter why Cohen doesn’t press Kyle Richards on something she said. Meyer tweeted, “He has his favorites.”

Another fan said he would ask more questions if it was someone else. “Correct! He would. He pressed me last year and the first year. He tossed KR [sic] soft balls and threw me grenades,” she tweeted back.

Multiple housewives weren’t happy with Cohen after their exits. Sometimes they’ve managed to return to the shows, but other times it’s been for good.
