Nintendo had a few anniversaries to celebrate over the past year, including the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series and the 25th anniversary of the ground-breaking Super Mario 64. While Mario always sees plenty of love from Nintendo, LoZ fans make their own celebrations with Legend of Zelda Christmas sweaters for the holidays.
#1 Merchoid revealed their ‘Legend of Zelda’ Hyrule Bright Ugly Christmas Sweater/Jumper
The first sweater comes from the website Merchoid. They have a long history of selling Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, and Atari-themed shirts as officially licensed merchandise. You can see their sweaters from 2018 here.
Their Legend of Zelda Christmas sweater features a Link-green sweater. It has golden highlights with the Hyrule Royal Crest pattern on the chest.
The sweater also features designs based on the Triforce, Master Sword, the Spiritual Stone Zora’s Sapphire, and Medallions from Ocarina of Time. The shirt also features a black Triforce, which could stand as a reference to the Lorulean Triforce from A Link Between Worlds.

#2 Retro Design Co. offers a classic and cooler look for a ‘Legend of Zelda’ Christmas sweater
Fans who loved the retro Legend of Zelda Game & Watch can appreciate this next holiday sweater. However, this shirt actually takes design elements from ugly Christmas sweaters for a t-shirt.
Retro Design Co. has a retro design (big surprise) based on the original Legend of Zelda NES game. It features an 8-bit Link battling the dragon boss, Aquamentus.
The Legend of Zelda Christmas sweater features sprites of several items, such as the bow and arrows, rupees, and the candle. It also features the completed Triforce and Link’s sword.
The Old Man appears at the bottom of the sweater. In The Legend of Zelda, the Old Man tells Link, “It’s dangerous to go alone, take this!” before offering him the sword.

#3 Fandomaniax gives something to fans of Majora’s Mask
While The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask stands as one of the darkest games in the series, it makes a surprisingly good Zelda Christmas sweater. It certainly does not hit the light-heartedness of titles like Super Mario 64.
Once again, using the Hyrule Royal Crest on the front, the sleeves feature the unsettling Majora’s Mask wrapped around the sides. The Triforce returns as a design element, dotting the sweater.
