90 Day Fiancé star Alina set up a sting with her friend Masha. She wanted to see if she could trust her Mormon boyfriend, Steven. Now, with Steven holding up plenty of troubling red flags, Alina is finally revealing to Steven that he was set up — plus, she exposes Steven’s replies, which don’t seem as innocent as Steven would have her believe. To top it all off, Alina wants Steven to delete his social media as a result. And while Steven agreed to do so, he regrets it.

90 Day Fiancé couple Steven and Alina have had issues with their relationship before getting together in Turkey. Specifically, Steven asked Alina if she’d be okay with him dating other women — she was not okay with this, and it hurt her that he asked at all.

“When Steven asked me if he could date other girls, I just burst into tears because he’s in relationship with me and he have to pay attention only on me,” she said on the show. Alina did not know it at the time, but Steven hadn’t been completely honest with her.

In fact, he’d lied about his sexual history, claiming he was a virgin. What’s more, he later revealed he’d been “intimate” with at least one woman after he and Alina started dating. So perhaps Alina is now feeling justified in the plan she concocted with her friend Masha.

She asked Masha to message Steven and flirt with him to see if he would reciprocate, given Steven’s interest in Russian women.

I’m asking Masha for help because she’s the only friend of mine that Steven don’t know about. And she’s very attractive so she’s a good bait, and Steven is a fish,” she explained to producers.

Steven replied to Masha

During their trip to Turkey, Alina and Steven had some intense conversations about Steven’s lies. At one point, during a trip to a park, Alina revealed her scheme to her 90 Day Fiancé partner.

She informed Steven that she knew he’d replied to Masha. Steven said it was nothing serious, and that he was just being polite, even though he had to kept the messages a secret from Alina.

“It’s offensive that you don’t trust me enough that you would try to set me up and set me up for failure,” Steven told Alina, despite his lying. Alina later revealed that Steven had talked to Masha about coming to visit him in Turkey, and bringing a bathing suit.

“Steven, how often are you there during winter?” Masha texted Steven of Turkey.

“Why wait until winter, I am in Turkey now. Grab your bathing suit,” he added, according to Masha and Alina.

Because of his behavior towards other women, including his infidelity and his chat with Masha, Alina has asked Steven to delete his social media accounts. The 90 Day Fiancé star agreed to delete them, but now regrets it.

“I’m regretting promising Alina that I’m gonna delete my social media because now she’s constantly on my back about it and I feel that her asking me to delete it is coming from a place of insecurity, rather than a place of wanting our relationship to be in a better place,” Steven told producers.
