90 Day Fiancé couple Brittany Banks and Yazan managed to get off to a bad start as soon as possible. The two are coming from vastly different cultural traditions, and that fact made itself clear as soon as Banks arrived at the airport to see Yazan in Jordan. Now, after such immediate difficulty and their continued arguments, fans are wondering if Banks and Yazan were able to make it work past their season of 90 Day Fiancé

Yazan and Brittany Banks have problems at the airport

In one of the fastest transitions from arrival to argument ever seen on 90 Day Fiancé, Yazan and Brittany Banks did not hit it off at the airport. In fact, their cultures clashed as soon as Banks arrived.

Yazan took major issue with Banks and her behavior when she stepped off the plane. Banks, who is a 27-year-old rapper, hugged members of the TLC crew when they mic’d her off camera. To make matters worse in Yazan’s eyes, Banks was also carrying alcohol in her bag upon arrival.

To Yazan, this was unacceptable. He doesn’t endorse either of these behaviors, and made his feelings known. He told Banks, “No, babe. That’s — it’s so wrong. … You want me to say to you, ‘It’s OK, go to hug the man?’ I can’t do it.”

Banks takes umbrage with anyone trying to control her lifestyle, and she told Yazan, “You’re not going to talk to me like that. Like I’m a kid, like you control everything that I do, like I’m an object. I’m a person, I’m a human being.”

Can Brittany Banks and Yazan find middle ground?

It wasn’t long before Brittany Banks realized that she and Yazan would have to find a middle ground and make compromises if they wanted their relationship to work. Especially given how different their cultural backgrounds are.

Banks told Entertainment Tonight, “When I’m dealing with someone — especially from a different background, and he’s used to things being a certain way — we’re learning to compromise. I think sometimes you have to just check things at the door that you’re not willing to accept.”

“We still have time to see if the compromise is worth it. I think it’s too soon to tell. So far, I think everything has happened the way it’s supposed to and I’m enjoying the ride,” she added.

Banks also made it clear that she’s making her choices with her own best interest in mind. “If I sacrifice anything … it’s going to be for myself because I decide that it’s a good decision. It’s not gonna be for anybody else or for any man because that’s the only way I’m going to stick to it, if it’s really for myself and something I believe in. I think it’s unfair, really, to try to change yourself for any other person,” she told ET.

So far, it seems as if Yazan and Brittany Banks are doing a good job of sticking to their NDAs as set forth by TLC and Sharp Entertainment. The two haven’t leaked much info about where they stand now.

However, it is worth noting that they are not very prevalent on each others’ social media. Brittany Banks doesn’t have any recent posts about Yazan, other than one new post with the caption, “He don’t wanna let her get lit when she got a body like this. And This’ll make em mad but I post it anyway. I ain’t talkin bout my man I’m talkin bout these haters bae.” It’s unclear whether or not she’s actually referencing Yazan.

Yazan does have one recent picture of Banks with him, and the caption reads, “I am so glad and lucky to have you in my life. You are the light to my darkness. I love you so much my Queen.”
