Ariela and Biniyam on ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’

Ariela told Entertainment Tonight in June that she was sure the 90 Day Fiancé audience was really going to like Biniyam, just like she does.

“Biniyam is really an amazing guy,” she said. “Anyone who meets him really likes him the first time that they meet him. He is a very kind person and that’s what I noticed at first. Of course, the first thing I noticed is he’s a very attractive guy. He has a personality that I think people will really connect to.”

Ariela said, when she and Biniyam first got together, he was the one who wanted to take their relationship to the next level.

“The funny thing is, I will say, the first time we really ever spent time together, he just laid it on me,” she said. “He said, ‘I want a serious life, I want a wife and I want a baby and I want, you know, like, a good job, and I want all these things.’ And my thought at the time was like, ‘Oh my god, this is too much, like, I just met you, calm down.’ But I came to appreciate that sentiment, especially when I realized that I was about to have my own family.”

The reality TV star spoke of their genuine connection. She also hinted that their story is an emotional one.

Janice is wary of Biniyam

Now, Janice, who is a nurse, is in Ethiopia to ensure that Ariela has safe conditions to give birth in. Though Janice finally admitted that the hospital Ariela plans to give birth in is satisfactory, she’s not so sure of Biniyam’s apartment.

In the most recent episode, we see Ariela’s mom ask Biniyam about how he’s going to support Ariela and their baby. She also pressed him to talk about why his first American wife left him. He said she left because she was upset at him for talking to another women, who Biniyam says he was just friends with. He said he was never unfaithful and that, one day, she simply left and blocked him.

In Monday’s episode, Ariela and her mother go to the club Biniyam works at to watch him perform. There, Janice, once again, asks Ariela about how she and Biniyam are going to provide for their baby.

“I don’t know, Mom, you’d have to ask him,” says Ariela.

Later, the women watch Biniyam perform. He’s dancing with a woman around his age. Janice asks her daughter who she is. Ariela says she’s Biniyam’s ex-girlfriend.

“Oh my god, she is really cute,” says Janice. “Better watch out, Ari. Especially when he’s dancing at night, and you’re home alone.”
