’90 Day Fiancé’: Ash Naeck Explains Why He Lied to Avery Warner About Tom Brooks Screenshotting Their Flirty DMs

During the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days “Tell-All,” fans finally learned the specifics of why Ash Naeck and Avery Warner broke up.

Just before the “Tell-All,” Ash did an interview with The Domenick Nati Show where he said that Avery ended their relationship because of her “trust issues with men.”

“Avery has a lot of trust issues and trust issues with men. We did break up on a situation where Avery felt trust was questioned. So, on that basis, she decided to break up. Whether if it’s stupid or not, I think you guys will see it. I’ll leave that to the opinion of people,” he said.

During their “Tell-All” segment, Avery explained that the instance in which her trust was broken involved Ash not being honest about participating in a diet she was doing. She said it was just another example of Ash “lying to [her] face.”

It was also revealed that, shortly after Avery and Ash split, Tom Brooks reached out to Avery to see if she was interested in going out with him. According to Avery, he pointed out the fact that they were both newly single and mentioned that he finds her attractive. Tom went to Ash to let him know that he was going to ask Avery out and then Ash lied to Avery and said that Tom sent him screenshots of their messages.

Ash said he lied because he was hurt and that he was “pissed at Tom and Avery” for having the conversation “two days after [their] breakup.”

Even after learning that Ash had been dishonest and Tom didn’t send her ex screenshots of their messages, Avery said she “still [doesn’t] find [Tom] as a very trustworthy person.”

Tom said that’s fine for her to have that opinion.

Avery took the whole situation as proof that she “can’t trust a damn word out of Ash’s mouth.”

“He, once again, lied to me,” she said.

Ash still loves Avery but Avery is ready to move on

At the end of their interview, Avery was asked if she could ever see herself and Ash getting back together. She said she didn’t know since they had only recently broken up. But at the end of their segment when Avery was doing her talking head, she called their “Tell-All” conversation “eye-opening” and said that she was looking forward to moving on and just focusing on her life.

As for Ash, in his interview with The Domenick Nati Show that took place after he’d filmed the “Tell-All,” he said he’s still very much in love with Avery.

“The reality is that I still love the girl. I still love her. So that’s not going to change so soon. We have departed but we have departed because of circumstances. And the reason of the departure is because, yeah, circumstances. Long-distance, the pressure of the show… I still love her. So for me to move on, it would take a while. It’s a lot of healing that needs to happen, personally,” he said.
