The first portion of the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days “Tell-All” did not disappoint in terms of dramatics. One of the (former) couples we took a deep-dive into was Big Ed Brown and Rose Vega. And things got pretty heated.

Big Ed and Rose on the ’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’ ‘Tell-All’

Rose was outwardly emotional throughout the entirety of her interview. She even had a translator help her to communicate because she felt too upset to translate on her own. She told host Shaun Robinson she predominantly felt “angry” toward Big Ed.

Ed said that his goal during the “Tell-All” was to get some answers from Rose. He showed messages between him and his former girlfriend that suggested she’d tried to get back together with him. He said she reached out on Valentine’s Day saying she wanted a present from him, and that he was willing to give their relationship another shot.

But Big Ed also accused Rose of dating someone else (who happened to be a woman) when she was trying to get back with him. Rose clarified the timeline and said she did begin dating someone new after she and Ed broke up “to move on.” Rose also said that Ed was the one reaching out to her, not the other way around.

Avery believes Big Ed but isn’t sure about Rose during the ‘Tell-All’

After each couple’s segment, a few other 90 Day Fiancé stars weighed in with their thoughts. While Darcey Silva went to bat for Rose, calling her a queen and shaming Ed for treating her the way he did, Avery Warner was more in Ed’s corner. She asked Ed during his interview if he was often misunderstood and had trouble getting his points across in life. He said he was and did.

Then, Avery told the camera that she believes Ed was trying to come from a good place but that he wasn’t communicating well. And she also said she’s not sure if she believes Rose’s side of the story.

Today, Ed and Rose are not together, and they don’t want to be friends moving forward. Ed told Rose that he never meant to make her feel bad and that he’s sorry their relationship didn’t work out. He says he really did love her.
