’90 Day Fiancé’: Azan Tefou Claims ‘Family Emergency’ Amid Canceled Trip With Nicole Nafziger
90 Day Fiancé stars Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou are without a doubt one of the most controversial and dramatic pairings on the show. For years the couple has been together, with Tefou failing to impress 90 Day Fiancé fans with his alleged love for Nafziger, and with Nafziger failing to impress fans with her lack of common sense. After two failed marriages, fans are beginning to wonder if Azan Tefou really has Nicole Nafziger’s best interests in mind, or if there’s an ulterior motive at play. Now, Tefou has canceled a trip to Grenada with Nafziger, citing family reasons — but he refuses to explain further.
One source claims Tefou is a player
Some fans have begun to wonder about the integrity of Azan Tefou’s intentions when it comes to Nicole Nafziger. After two failed attempts at marriage and several years together, it doesn’t feel as if marriage is happening soon. In the past, a source got in touch with YouTuber Keith Brookes, and claimed to have the scoop on Tefou.
In a now-deleted video, the woman claims to be a 23-year-old from Spain, and one of Tefou’s many girlfriends. The woman goes on to say that Tefou has girlfriends in South Korea, Japan, England, and Russia, and that his real goal is to enter a relationship with someone living in a country with close ties to the U.S.
“The whole relationship is really a joke,” said the informant. “He plans on going over and marrying Nicole, as soon as he can he wants to just divorce her and then bring in his girlfriend from Morocco, bring her over to the states and marry her. Everything about it is just really shady.”
An Instagram user says Tefou’s family laughs at Nafziger
Now, another would-be informant has come forward, this time on Instagram. An Instagram user claiming to know the 90 Day Fiancé star’s aunt is now making additional claims against Azan Tefou.
“I am a europian moroccan and i know his aunt. She laugh so hard about Nicole and they all know that Azan is not in love with Nicole and they support him in taking her money. They are NEVER gonne let him marry Nicole. Sorry for the bad English,” wrote the user, making a variety of incendiary claims.
In an additional comment, the Instagram user went on to say, “He dont want to leave Marocco. If he wanted to leave he could because his family have family in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. He could marry a girl from heren but he want a good life in Morocco. He is lying about that he cant transfer money to her. The engegement ring was so cheap.”
While we can not confirm the identity of the Instagram user, some fans aren’t finding this source particularly challenging to believe, after seeing Tefou’s behavior on the show.
Tefou’s alleged family emergency
Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou were slated to go on a trip together in Grenada — the first couple’s trip for the two in a long time. However, Tefou ended up canceling the trip, claiming that it was due to a family emergency.
“It’s been a couple of weeks since the trip to Grenada was canceled. I am a little disappointed because I was really excited about it. The day we were supposed to leave, Azan called me and told me that he’s not going to be able to come,” Nafziger told TLC.
During her call with Tefou, Nafziger asked, “So is everything OK with that family emergency?”
Tefou replied, “Yeah. Thank God, like, really like, things are getting better now. Seems like everything’s good.”
Tefou doesn’t go into any further detail about what the family emergency was, leaving many fans wondering if there truly was one, given the allegations made against him.
“That’s good I was worried. I know my family’s been asking what your family emergency is but I keep telling them that you and your family didn’t want to talk about it. I’m just sad that I didn’t get to see you like we planned. I was just excited,” said Nafziger.
