90 Day Fiancé star Babygirl Lisa Hamme has been a controversial member of the hit TLC franchise since day one. The reality star went to Nigeria to marry local aspiring musician Usman Umar. However, things have recently taken a terrible turn. Hamme admitted to calling Umar the n-word during their private time together, following similar behavior on social media. Now, Umar has been claiming that Hamme is holding onto his money, and Hamme is claiming that Umar’s behavior is haram.

‘90 Day Fiancé’ star drops racial slurs

Babygirl Lisa Hamme faced intense 90 Day Fiancé fan criticism after she was caught saying the n-word both online, and to her husband, Usman Umar. Umar revealed Hamme’s racist behavior during their time together on the tell-all episode of the show.

In the footage, Umar says to Hamme, “Lisa, last week you called me n*gger which I know is totally inappropriate in America. You called me n*gger, I don’t even get angry about it because I am used to how you are behaving.”

Hamme replied, “If you start this sh*t again. Do not open that can of worms. Do not. Do not start. Let me tell you something. Listen, if you open a can of worms.”

Hamme later told Domenick Nati, “No, that word was used out of context and out of stupidity. My husband accepted my apology, but haters don’t and they want to ride it out to no end.”

However, this is not the first time Hamme has been caught using the word. In fact, she was seen using it on Instagram. Hamme commented on a post, “Tell my n*gga I saw his answer, hope he chokes tf out….”

Usman Umar’s money troubles

Since then, Babygirl Lisa Hamme has claimed that Usman Umar scammed her. Meanwhile, Umar has claimed that Hamme is withholding the money he’s made from services like Cameo.

Usman Umar wrote on Instagram, “I’m a good Nigerian who sacrificed a lot to make someone happy including losing my job, but today I was called a scammer by that same person I make happy[.] I wonder how scammer can be on TV always and on social media relating with big politicians and some prominent people, after calling ME n-word, calling scammer and now I have been blackmailed with my own money [sic].”

90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates captured Lisa Hamme showing off her money transfer receipts to Usman Umar, casting some serious doubt on his claims that she’s been withholding his earnings.

Since then, the two 90 Day Fiancé cast members have continued to butt heads. Babygirl Lisa has continued to attack Usman Umar, and vice versa.

In a recent post, Hamme leaned on religion to put pressure on Umar, a Muslim, by calling his actions haram. Hamme reposted a comment on Instagram made by a fan that read, “According to Islam the money belongs to her. If you looked at the Cameo check it was written to her. Also under Islamic law if Usman gives her a gift it’s automatically hers, he cannot take it back. Islam also says that he has to take care of her financially, sexually, and protect her. Trashing her on online platforms is not protecting her it’s haram.”

Hamme captioned the post, “[I]nteresting thank you for sending that to me — but I knew it was haram what he is doing to me.”
