90 Day Fiancé couple Babygirl Lisa Hamme and Usman Umar are one of the most popular duos on the current season of the show. And while it may be a case of infamy for Hamme, it seems the fans just can’t stop watching. During a recent interview with Domenick Nati, Hamme revealed that she plans on converting to Islam, and that Usman Umar may consider taking a second wife, depending on their future together.

Babygirl Lisa Hamme admits to using racial slur

Babygirl Lisa Hamm has been under fire from 90 Day Fiancé fans for her use of racial slurs and other epithets on social media. Matters only got worse when Usman Umar revealed that Hamme has called her a racial epithet in their private time.

During her chat with Domenick Nati, Hamme admitted that what Umar said was true. That she had indeed referred to him with the n-word.

Hamme explained to Nati, “That word was used out of context, it was used out of stupidity. My husband accepted my apology. But the haters don’t, they want to ride it out to no end.”

She went on to explain that she’s planning on just waiting the controversy out. She said, “Other famous people who do entertainment, they said let it die down, let the haters subside. And the ones that are riding it are the ones that are trying to become popular like [me], that is their goal.”

Usman Umar may take a second wife

The 90 Day Fiancé star seems to be embracing certain aspects of Usman Umar’s lifestyle in Nigeria. For example, she told Nati that Umar may take a second wife.

Hamme explained, “No I’m not pregnant right now. You don’t get this marshmallow belly from starving yourself eating salads. … As far as children, we’re definitely going to try.”

She went on to explain, “And if it does not happen, in Nigeria he is entitled to take four wives. But people don’t understand the complete law of that. I am the first wife, I carry the highest title. The second, third, fourth are below. So he may take a second wife as long as he can take care of my house, my bills, and I can live comfortably.”

“Before he could even take a second wife, he has to be able to provide for me everything. … So for him to take a second wife if we cannot conceive, he has to financially be able to stand ground and take care of two households,” Hamme went on to add.

After Babygirl Lisa Hamme met Usman Umar’s mother, many 90 Day Fiancé fans were wondering if she’d be able to win the matriarch over. Umar and Hamme attended a service at a mosque to win some favor with Umar’s mother.

This left some fans wondering if Hamme was considering converting to Islam to further curry favor. Hamme revealed to Nati, “My Christianity, and like I said, Usman and discussed this for three years now, I lost faith for some time. I had a full pregnancy, and day of delivery, my daughter died two hours before delivery.”

Hamme continued, “So I didn’t believe in god at that time. I was like, there’s no god, why would you do this to me? So I was just struggling with my own faith. So [I asked Usman] to tell me more about the Islamic religion.”

“So I will do my conversion when Usman is here in the United States or when I travel back. That what you saw was truly the beginning of my conversion into the Islamic religion. My name now is Fatima Lisa Renee Umar,” Hamme revealed.
