Big Ed and Rose Vega’s relationship

Brown and Vega’s relationship was tumultuous from the start. Besides the big age gap between them, Brown’s daughter didn’t approve of the relationship and he lied to Vega about a number of things, including his appearance and wanting children.

“So, I wasn’t completely honest with Rose about [my height] and a couple of other things,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s never a good idea to lie. You have to be honest and I’m learning that even if you have strong feelings for someone, it’s better to get it out in the open. If not, it’s gonna come back and bite you.”

Throughout his time in the Philipines, Brown offended Vega a number of times. First, he asked her to take an STD test, then he wanted her to shave her legs, and finally, he gifted her with mouthwash, claiming that her breath stunk.

Rose and Big Ed’s breakup

Vega stuck with Brown through all of his disrespect. It wasn’t until he told her that he didn’t want kids that she ended things for good.

“I should have been more truthful,” Brown told Vega on the show. “I apologize. I should’ve said I don’t want more kids, but I wanted to get to know you. I wanted [you] to get to know me to make sure we are compatible.”

“I know who [you are]. I think,” Vega said to him. “First [you] lied to me about [your] height. Right? Then, you want to give me an STD test right? And about mouthwash, why you tell me? You know I [am] sick, I have [an] ulcer.

“I’m disappointed because you always embarrassed me,” she continued. “I think [you] don’t love me. I’m done.”

Big Ed Brown and Rose Vega are filming again

In September, a 90 Day Fiancé fan account posted an image of Brown filming with the caption, “Big Ed was spotted filming with a ‘date’ this weekend.” Brown also reposted stories to his Instagram that showed him being filmed.

Now, Vega has also hinted that she is fiming. In an Instagram story captured by Soap Dirt, she can be seen getting her hair and makeup done with a camera crew around her.

“Preparing something special for you all,” she wrote over the image.

Are Big Ed Brown and Rose Vega back together?

After their season finished filming, Vega and Brown seemingly reconnected. At the tell-all reunion, they argued over the details of their post-show contact. Brown claimed that he was ready to try to make things work with Vega until he saw that she was dating someone new. He also alleged that Vega tried to get back together with him after her and her girlfriend broke up. Vega maintained that she wanted nothing to do with Brown.

Given how upset talking to Brown at the reunion made Vega, it would be surprising to see them reunite for another season.
