’90 Day Fiance’: Big Ed Brown Has Received Over 30 Marriage Proposals Since Breaking Up with Rose Vega

Big Ed Brown has felt the highs and lows of fame several times since 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days began airing. He has become one of the most talked-about cast members on the show this season. Unfortunately, things did not work out with his Philipino girlfriend, Rose Vega. But that doesn’t mean that Brown has been hurting in the romance department. Since his breakup, he’s reportedly had a lot of women reach out to him.

Rose and Big Ed’s rocky relationship

Brown and Vega’s relationship was pretty much doomed from the start. Brown lied to Vega about his height and appearance and then proceeded to be rude to her for most of his trip. First, he tried to get her to take an STD test, and then he told her to shave her legs. After watching the leg shaving debacle back, Brown apologized.

“I woke up last Sunday morning and it wasn’t a good morning because all of the haters came out,” he told Us Weekly. “I had asked Rose if she would shave her legs, and people were really upset about that. And I was having a conversation with my daughter Tiffany, and she’s like, ‘Dad, look, that’s completely normal. I live in San Diego. Everybody goes to the beach, people laser their legs.’ … So it wasn’t something that I was really used to.”

But that wasn’t the end of his foolishness. He also told Vega that her breath stank on national television.

The breakup

The entire season, Brown had been keeping a huge secret from Vega, but he finally came clean toward the end of his trip to the Philipines.

“I should have been more truthful,” Brown told Vega. “I apologize. I should’ve said I don’t want more kids, but I wanted to get to know you. I wanted [you] to get to know me to make sure we are compatible.”

This lie was the final straw for Vega.

“I know who [you are]. I think,” she said to him. “First [you] lied to me about [your] height. Right? Then, you want to give me an STD test right? And about mouthwash, why you tell me? You know I [am] sick, I have [an] ulcer.

“I’m disappointed because you always embarrassed me,” she continued. “I think [you] don’t love me. I’m done.”

Backlash against Ed Brown

Brown has definitely received some hate while on the show.

“Rose chose to stay in poverty after meeting Big Ed,” one fan tweeted. “That should tell you something about his personality.”

“Hey Big Ed, just rewind your footage of this trip and see how you dropped the ball. This girl was sleeping on concrete floors with 6lbs rats and she chose them over you because of your insensitive, insecure, and downright disrespectful a*s #90DayFiance #90dayfiancebeforethe90days,” another person wrote.

And several viewers have just written him off completely.

“All jokes aside, f*ck Big Ed,” one viewer said. “Dude’s just disrespectful and a hypocrite in every way. He cheats on his wife and has the audacity to question Rose’s faithfulness by suggesting she take an STD test and repeatedly asking her about her past which she clearly was uncomfortable with.”

Some women still like Big Ed

Though Brown has received a lot of hate, some women still really like him.

Brown recently went on Instagram Live and chatted with some fans for over 30 minutes. During that time, several women came on and expressed their love for him.

“Oh my god. I don’t even know what to say because I’m a ’90 Day Fiancé’ fan. I literally love you so much,” one girl said.

“I love you guys too,” he replied. “Thanks so much. You know there’s so much hate out there. But listen, I love myself. I’m not affected by it.”

Brown later said that he has received 37 marriage proposals just in the week before the Instagram Live.

“I’ve accepted every one of them,” he said.
