Big Ed Brown’s trip to the Philippines to meet Rose Vega and her family didn’t go very well. 90 Day Fiancé viewers watched Ed and Rose’s relationship grow progressively tenser as the visit went on.

Why Big Ed and Rose broke up on ’90 Day Fiancé’

Rose said Ed embarrassed her by asking her to shave her legs and brush her teeth. He made her feel bad when he requested she get tested for STDs. But their biggest altercation occurred when she confronted him about not being upfront about the fact that he didn’t want to have any more children.

When Rose confronted Ed about wanting a vasectomy, she told him she has a pretty good idea of who he is. She mentioned the times he’d lied to her and made her feel bad and said, “I think you not love me. I’m done.”

With the way Big Ed and Rose have been acting toward each other online since the season began airing, it was safe to assume that this couple was done for good. But during the first portion of the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days “Tell-All,” Ed said that Rose tried to get back together with him after his trip to the Philippines.

Ed came to the “Tell-All” with his phone in hand, ready to show that Rose had been messaging him and sending him flirtatious pictures of herself. He said she’d reached out to him around Valentine’s Day saying she wanted a present.

Big Ed said he was ready to give their relationship another shot, but then he discovered that Rose was dating someone else (who happened to be a woman) while reaching out to him.

“There’s nothing wrong with that. You can love whoever you want,” said Ed of Rose’s new partner. But he didn’t want to continue messaging if she was with another person.

Rose said that she was dating the woman in question but only after she and Ed had broken up. “To move on,” she said. She also said that Ed was the one messaging her and that she only responded because she didn’t want to be rude.

Rose and Big Ed didn’t end their “Tell-All” interview on the best of terms, but Ed did say that he never meant to hurt Rose and that he’s sorry that their relationship didn’t work out. Rose, on the other hand, said she wants no contact with Ed moving forward.
