90 Day Fiancé fans met Ashley Martson and Jay Smith back in 2018. They got married but Jay, as fans are sure to remember, got caught on a dating app the same day as the ceremony. He went on to cheat multiple times (including once in a barbershop bathroom).

Ashley and Jay discussed getting divorced over the last couple of years but ultimately decided to give their relationship another shot. Today, they’re back together trying to make it work. Jay is still heavily featured on Ashley’s Instagram and they’ve also been posting TikToks together. It seems they’ve been isolating together amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Fellow 90 Day Fiancé star Cortney Reardanz has gone on a few trips with Ashley. She recently weighed in on her relationship with Jay in an interview with The Domenick Nati Show on May 15.

Cortney doesn’t think Jay will ever be faithful to Ashley

“I felt shocked [when I learned they got back together]. Like, ‘Oh. They’re getting back together.’ I’m curious to see how long it lasts outside of quarantine,” she said.

Cortney doesn’t have a lot of hope for Jay’s new promises to be faithful. She feels it’s “ingrained in him to be a player.”

“I think, honestly, I don’t think he’s gonna be faithful because his dad was a player so I think it’s like ingrained in him to be a player. And he’s already cheated multiple times. I feel he’s shown his true colors. I think it’s hard to train somebody out of a character that they’ve developed from childhood,” she said.

Cortney also updated fans on her own relationship status. Most recently she could be seen in 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined with a man named Andy.

“Andy from the show, I feel that he’s ready for marriage and a relationship and stuff and I felt, ‘OK, I’m getting to know him. I’m exploring my options,’ or I wasn’t ready for commitment,” she said.

She says they’re still feeling out if they’re compatible.

“We text and talk but I feel there’s been a lot of arguing so I don’t know if we’re compatible or if it’s just the stress of quarantine. So I feel I’m sorting out my love life. It’s a mess,” she said.
