’90 Day Fiancé’: Dean Hashim Says This is Why Tim Malcolm Won’t Accept His Apology
Earlier this year, Dean Hashim faced some backlash for making comments about 90 Day Fiancé star Tim Malcolm. Appearing on an episode of The Domenick Nati Show, Hashim joked around about the possibility of Tim Malcolm being transgender. Malcolm was not happy about the comments and took to Instagram to voice his frustration.
Now, Hashim, who is no longer on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk, is claiming that Malcolm refused to accept his apology. And he says Malcolm’s reason is a selfish one.
Dean Hashim’s comments about Tim Malcolm
90 Day Fiancé star Tim Malcolm faced some nasty fan comments during his season of the reality television show. Some fans doubted Malcolm’s sexuality, and others started spreading rumors that he was transgender.
On an episode of The Domenick Nati Show, Dean Hashim perpetuated some of these same rumors with some distasteful comments about Malcolm.
Hashim said, “They way [Tim] crossed his legs, man, it don’t look like he got a pair of balls between ’em. I don’t know man, I can’t even cross my legs like that man, I’m blessed, you know what I mean? I can’t cross my legs like that. He crosses his legs more feminine than she do.”
“Here’s what I’m thinking, cause look man, me and my brother was saying the other day, he was like, ‘Yo, I think that he used to be a female that turned himself into a man. He trying to grow up here, you know. It ain’t ready, it ain’t fresh out the oven yet man. He can’t pull his pants down yet you know? I think what it is, when they get that sex change, they gotta give it time for that peter to grow, like a sprout,” continued Hashim.
At the time, Malcolm posted on Instagram, “Now even the cast with this sh*t. Always remember… Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots. ‘Spit venom in interviews, speakin’ on reunions. Move units, then talk shit and we can do this. Until then, I ain’t even speakin’ your name. Just keep my name outta your mouth, and we can keep it the same dean.’”
Hashim says Malcolm won’t accept his apology
During a recent chat with Domenick Nati, Dean Hashim got into his comments about Tim Malcolm. The 90 Day Fiancé star apologized for his comments, to a degree, and claims that he made a similar apology to Malcolm — which Malcolm ignored.
“You and I did an interview a while back and I kind of got a little overboard with my jokes on Tim. You know, once again publicly I want to apologize to anybody — not just Tim, Tim too for sure — but anybody else who was offended by that. It was not done in a mean-spirited way. I’m a freaking comedian, I’m a jokester, and that’s all it was, I was joking and I went too crazy,” said Hashim.
Hashim went on to add, “I got gay friends, I got love for everybody. And technically I didn’t say ‘I think he’s transgender.’ I was saying he might have been a girl and was growing a peter or something crazy, but technically I didn’t say transgender, it wasn’t that type of joke.”
Hashim then discussed how he attempted to apologize to Malcolm, explaining that he was simply ignored by the 90 Day Fiancé star. “I tried to call him on Instagram, but he declined my call. I’m like okay, I get it, maybe he’s still a little butthurt, maybe he’s still a little mad. So then I waited a few days and I tried to call him again, and he didn’t answer. So what I ended up doing as my last resort, I just went ahead and left a really long comment on his page. I don’t know if it’s deleted now, but I screenshotted what I sent to him. I left him three paragraphs saying I don’t like bullies either. … I mean I wrote this f*cker a book ok? Of course he didn’t respond. A lot of people were responding on there, saying ‘Oh, Tim’s being a wuss,’ and all that stuff, and ‘Don’t worry about him Dean.’ But then I didn’t even entertain that, I said ‘If the man was offended the man was offended, and I apologize for that, I don’t wanna hurt nobody,’” explained Hashim.
He then added, “I mean I guess it’s good publicity for him if people are feeling sorry for him, and you know, whatever, he’s the victim and this and that. But I know I’m good with karma cause I made good you know what I mean?”
No longer on ‘90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk’
Fans have noticed that Dean Hashim and Tarik Myers haven’t been on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk recently, and many were wondering if it was due to his comments about Tim Malcolm. Hashim was quick to put that rumor to bed, however.
Hashim said, “Well we’re not on Pillow Talk right now, that part is true. The part that is an untruth is that it’s because of Tim. No, it ain’t got nothing to do with Tim.”
However, Hashim did float a hint that he’ll be back on the franchise soon. “I’m not gonna go into detail, I’m still under NDA. But this right here is something I’m gonna say to people that’s common sense, and people forget this — dude, the pillow talk cast is a rotating cast, okay? It’s a rotating cast, that cast is always changing. But you know, I wanna say something else with that — it’s not the last you’re gonna see me in the franchise guys, hint hint. Okay, think about, it’s not the last you’re gonna see me in the franchise, one door closes, another door opens, always,” he said.
“One day you guys will probably all get to share this adventure with me, hint hint, not the last,” concluded Hashim.
