’90 Day Fiancé’: Deavan Clegg Announces She Won’t Attend the Tell-All, Claims Jihoon Lee Won’t Sign Divorce Papers—’The Truth of My Story Will Come Out’

’90 Day Fiancé’ star Deavan Clegg recently took to Instagram to claim that her estranged husband, Jihoon Lee, refused to grant her a divorce. The mom of two also announced that she wouldn’t be attending the upcoming ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ Tell-All.

Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee, stars of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, recently confirmed the many rumors about their split. Jihoon, 29, and Deavan, 23, are now living in separate countries—with Jihoon remaining in his home country of South Korea and Deavan back in the U.S. with her daughter, Drascilla, and the couple’s young son, Taeyang.

Jihoon and Deavan have both lobbed accusations at each other in recent weeks, with Jihoon claiming that his estranged wife wouldn’t allow him to see his son and Deavan insisting that Jihoon was the one who refused to co-parent cooperatively with her. Meanwhile, Deavan moved on with a new boyfriend, model/actor Topher Park.

On Sept. 22, Deavan took to her Instagram stories to announce that she wouldn’t be attending the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Tell-All. The mom of two also claimed that Jihoon hadn’t yet signed the divorce papers, despite her best efforts to push the process along.

Deavan previously claimed the truth would come out at the ’90 Day Fiancé’ Tell-All

While 90 Day Fiancé fans initially seemed to side with Deavan—due to Jihoon’s dishonesty about his job, finances, debt, and criminal record in his home country—the tide turned against her somewhat over the course of the second season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way.

Many viewers argued that Deavan and her mom, Elicia Clegg, were overly judgmental and didn’t give Jihoon much of a chance to be a husband and father. Others argued that Deavan blamed Jihoon for all of the couple’s problems, despite the fact that she, too, played an equal role in her unexpected pregnancy with Taeyang. After Deavan began a relationship with her new boyfriend, some fans also criticized her for moving on too quickly.

But Deavan repeatedly took to social media to defend herself, insisting that her side of the story would come out on the Tell-All. She even claimed that Jihoon had done “evil” things and called her and her children “vile, degrading names.”

According to Cinema Blend, Deavan wrote on Instagram, “I tried and this person has said some vile things about my son and has blocked any way of me getting in contact to even send photos of my son. But yet you guys attack me? You don’t know what happened behind [closed] doors you don’t know the type of evil that happened.”

Later in her comments, Deavan continued, “Wait till the Tell All I’m tired of this. Something bad happened that can never be forgiven. I tried to co-parent but that’s kind of hard to do when the other person has deleted any type of way to get in contact.”

Jihoon’s ex recently claimed she wouldn’t attend the reunion

On Sept. 22, Deavan shared an update about her stance with respect to the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Tell-All on her Instagram stories.

“We will not be attending the Tell All,” Deavan wrote of the cast reunion, which usually offers cast members a chance to open up about issues not covered on the show.

Jihoon’s estranged wife offered a vague explanation for her anticipated absence at the event, writing, “TLC is aware of what happened to my daughter and has been for months their reason being ‘we don’t want to have to put your family through that and be around him’ so I’ll leave it at that.”

Still, the 90 Day Fiancé star promised her fans that she would eventually tell her full, unabridged side of the story.

“Look out for the future the truth will be released,” Deavan wrote. “I am a little upset I will not be able to tell my side due to the fact they knew what was happening and I sat here pretending it was okay online for them so I wouldn’t be breaking my contracts. So the truth of my story will come out in time.”

The ’90 Day Fiancé’ star also alleged that Jihoon wouldn’t sign the divorce papers

In a Sept. 3 Instagram post, Jihoon told his followers that there was “no divorce on paper” just yet. Revealing that his “heart was breaking,” he also insinuated that Deavan had removed his son from his life “without [his] knowledge.”

But, in her Sept. 22 Instagram stories, Deavan seemed to respond to this claim, too. It was Jihoon, she alleged, who refused to go through with the legal process to get a divorce.

The 90 Day Fiancé star wrote in a post (in which she also asked fans to stop sending so much “hate mail” her way), “I want to say this once I’ve tried to get the divorce finished. Jihoon has not yet signed I’ve been trying so everyone leave me alone about the situation.”

While all the details aren’t clear just yet, Jihoon and Deavan’s breakup saga still appears to be far from over. Fans will undoubtedly stay glued to the conflict as it continues to unfold.
