’90 Day Fiancé’: Deavan Clegg Blasts Geoffrey Paschel On Instagram, Calls Him An ‘Evil Person’
90 Day Fiancé star Geoffrey Paschel has faced high levels of controversy and pushback from fans of the TLC franchise after his time on the show. The controversial star has a checkered past, and faces multiple accusations of abusive behavior from his exes. Now, Geoffrey Paschel is facing 90 Day Fiancé alum Deavan Clegg’s wrath after some comments about her parenting. The two duked it out on Instagram, and Clegg wasn’t taking any prisoners.
Geoffrey Paschel faces accusations from his past
TLC faced plenty of backlash from fans of 90 Day Fiancé when they cast Geoffrey Paschel for the show. The reality star has a slew of alarming accusations laid out against him by his exes.
Paschel was arrested in June 2019 when his ex-girlfriend claimed that he attacked her and tried to prevent her from calling for help. In court documents, his ex explained, “He repeatedly bashed/slammed my head into the hardwood floors of my home. He dragged me through the house by my hair and continued throwing my body into walls and furniture. I know this because of blood on my walls, furniture, etc.”
The police report of the incident seems to corroborate her claims. The report explains that, “officers observed a large raised bruise on [her] forehead and abrasions on her elbows and knees.” When she arrived at the hospital, his ex was diagnosed with a concussion.
Paschel’s ex claimed that he tried to prevent her from calling for help by disabling her phone. That’s not all, Paschel has also spent 30 months in prison for drug dealing. In 2018, one ex filed for a protective order against Paschel, claiming that he used his children as drug mules. Three of Paschel’s ex-wives accused him of domestic violence, and one has accused him of rape.
‘90 Day Fiancé’ stars butt heads
90 Day Fiancé star Deavan Clegg got into it with Geoffrey Paschel. Paschel made comments about Clegg’s daughter and Clegg wasn’t having it.
Clegg took to her Instagram story, writing, “You’re really going to come after me and my daughter like that? You’re absolutely f*cking disgusting. I saw those comments you posted. My daughter’s 4 grow up. I’m not the one who lost custody. You did. Secondly I was in [an abusive] relationship and I saw your police reports. You’re a disgusting human being for what you did. And there’s a reason you were fired. Don’t attack me and my child when I don’t even know you.”
Geoffrey replied, “I can’t get enough of ignorance – it’s comical. I don’t come after children…it’s not their fault. It is the parent behind it. If I were you, I’d focus on raising them instead of letting other people.”
Deavan Clegg goes in for the kill
After Geoffrey Paschel’s rebuttal, Deavan Clegg went all in on tearing him down. She replied to the 90 Day Fiancé star, writing, “I’m raising my child on my own. I have full custody for a reason. Just like how you lost custody worry about your own parenting before you come after mine. You don’t know me and you out of everyone should know how production works.”
Clegg then doubled down on calling Paschel out for giving out parenting advice. Clegg wrote, “There’s a reason I have full custody and there’s a reason you don’t have custody at all. Worry about your own family and take your own damn advice. I’m not shocked you’re coming after me like how you come after all these women you’ve hurt in the past. My children are happy and have everything they could wish for. No one is raising my kids except me. But you wouldn’t know anything about raising kids full time, would you?”
The two continued their fight on Instagram. Paschel replied, “[Your] a** wants to talk smack about me on one of your lives and then act like some silly victim? Seriously? You shot first and I will call your a** out every time I can. I do know how production works and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with production or the show. I have never once seen you on TV and never plan on it. But what I DO know about is real life and your playing it out perfectly as parent who leaves their children lacking [sic]. You’ll regret it one day…mark my words.”
Clegg replied one more time, writing in part, “My information is based off police reports and factual evidence. I don’t need your fake gaslighting tactics. Yes I mentioned you on a live because I thought it was absolutely disgusting TLC hired someone with crazy convictions. And I almost quit the show because of it. Really gentlemen [sic] of you to threaten me? Just proves my point that you are an evil person.”
