People have been wondering just how real  90 Day Fiancé is since the show began airing in 2014. Before cast members go on the show, they have to sign some pretty hefty contracts, so most of them stay fairly tight-lipped about what goes on behind the scenes. But now, Deavan Clegg of The Other Way has come forward and alleged that the show may be fake.

What has been going on with Deavan Clegg?

Throughout her time on two seasons of the show, Clegg has received criticism for how she parents her daughter Drascilla. Some fans have called her out for not disciplining the small child and letting her run wild. This season, Clegg took to Instagram to talk about how the show’s editing made her child look.

“I’ve been upset with edits before,” she said. “I haven’t been vocal about it too much. But the edits are just getting so bad on my daughter that it’s disgusting and it’s disheartening.”

“They promised they wouldn’t show her bottle, and she was on formula at that age because she was losing weight and she couldn’t gain any weight and her doctor recommended it,” she continued. “But people don’t take that into consideration, they just judge saying I’m neglectful when it’s actually the complete opposite of that. They promised they wouldn’t show that, and they did.”

She went on to allege that people had been threatening Drascilla due to the way that the story had been edited.

Deavan claims the show is fake

Cast members in the past have alleged that certain situations on the show are exaggerated to make for more drama. Now, Clegg is saying that the producers edit reality shows to make the storylines fit what they want. Though she was careful not to mention 90 Day Fiancé by name, it’s not hard to guess which reality show she was referring to.

“Hi everyone,” she wrote in her Instagram story captured by Screen Rant. “Not stating a certain show but you guys are aware that MOST reality tv shows are fake and either scripted or edited to match a storyline that storyboard teams put together before filming.”

She went on to say that during the cast interviews, producers have been known to give potential cast members scripts to read from. She alleged that the network would typecast villains and good guys and that even children were used for storylines.

Deavan Clegg says Jihoon Lee hurt Drascilla

In the social media battle that Lee and Clegg have been involved in, Clegg alleged that she was the one trying to be a good parent to Drascilla and Taeyang and that Lee had not been. She said that Lee had blocked her on social media and that she had no way of getting in contact with him. She also alleged that Lee did something to hurt Drascilla but hasn’t been able to fully disclose what happened for legal reasons.

“I haven’t spoken on what happened because I will deal with it in court,” she said in Instagram comments. “Once legal matters are finished, I’ll be able to share when I’m comfortable.”
