Chantel’s family was understandably upset when they learn that their daughter is going to have to marry Pedro in just a few days or he’ll have to go back to the Dominican Republic. They were under a very different impression that Pedro is here to study, but in reality he’s in the U.S. on a K-1 visa. They are shocked when they learn the truth about the situation, and it isn’t clear if they will show up to Chantel and Pedro’s wedding.

On the day of the wedding, there is a lot of stress on the young couple. Chantel’s mother Karen wants her to have a prenuptial agreement in regards to her inheritance. It’s a stressful topic and Chantel and Pedro even go to a lawyer to try and have one drawn up, but they learn they won’t have enough time to get it done as they are getting married so soon. They instead print out a prenup online to satisfy Chantel’s mother.

Did Chantel’s family actually attend her wedding to Pedro?

Luckily, Chantel’s friend helps set up a nice little area for the wedding at a local park. With lights hanging up everywhere, the moment comes for Chantel and Pedro to say “I do.” The bishop is there to perform the ceremony, and luckily, some more guests arrive just in time.

Chantel’s mother and father, Karen and Thomas, arrive along with Chantel’s sister Winter. “We’re here to support our daughter, in her nuptials, that of course we just found out about,” Karen says to the cameras.

Before the ceremony, Karen mentions the prenup and asks to see it. Karen asks if the inheritance is listed on the agreement, and after reading over it, Chantel’s parents agree everything looks good and in order.

Luckily, River, Chantel’s brother, shows up as well on his own just in time when they thought he was at a basketball game and wouldn’t be making it. He hugs his sister and asks her if she is sure she wants to go through with this, and she says she is. He shakes Pedro’s hand as well, which is nice to see.

“Tonight, I only came because my sister called me and she told me she really wanted me to be here and I didn’t wanna hurt her the same way she hurt me,” River tells the cameras.

The wedding takes place with Chantel’s family by her side and it’s a nice turn of events despite all the issues in the past. Chantel and Pedro get married and it’s a beautiful ceremony.
