90 Day Fiancé star Jay Smith is officially in ICE custody, awaiting a hearing to determine the future of his status in the United States. The story of Jay Smith and Ashley Martson’s relationship is a tumultuous one to say the least. Jay Smith was caught in two different cheating scandals, and the couple eventually divorced. Martson struggled with depression following the divorce, attending a wellness retreat amid claims that Smith was still heckling her.
Now that Smith has been detained, his sister, who goes by Poochie, is coming forward to claim that not only was the cheating scandal a set-up, but that Martson had a sugar daddy this whole time.
Jay Smith detained by ICE
The 90 Day Fiancé star is currently being held in the York County Prison in Pennsylvania, following his decision to turn himself in after learning there was a warrant out for his arrest. The warrana came following a Protection From Abuse order violation on Smith’s part. Martson previously told Celebuzz, “Jay and I have a PFA hearing next Wednesday…and then he’ll go back to York Country Prison until he is seen by an immigration judge.”
The PFA hearing in question has since been rescheduled for July 17, and Jay Smith’s future with ICE seems unclear at the moment.
“This is a very sad situation overall…I’m not popping champagne bottles celebrating today. It’s hard to sit here and think about how he’s sitting in a jail cell right now, but I also have to remember everything he put me through the past year,” said Martson.
Smith’s sister claims conspiracy
On a recent 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After episode, Ashley Martson received a phone call from the woman Jay Smith cheated on her with. During the call, the woman revealed that she and Jay had sex at a barbershop.
“I had come into the barbershop and getting ready to start the tattoo, and he kinda was like touching me, kind of caressing me and then one thing kind of just lead to another. We went into the bathroom and had sex,” explained the woman.
Jay Smith’s sister, Ornella Smith aka Poochie, is claiming that this was all a set-up. In a recent Instagram post, Poochie wrote, “[Ashley] called me right after telling me that the show set it up. And Jay was so f****** horny and stupid and fell right in the trap!” Poochie went on to add that Martson didn’t care that Jay Smith cheated on her, rather she only care about whether or not she “got their $500” as a reward for the setup.

To top that off, Poochie is now claiming that the 90 Day Fiancé star had a sugar daddy when together with Jay Smith. According to Poochie, Ashley Martson started cheating first. On her Instagram story, Poochie posted, “How could my brother be happy when he found out that you’ve been going to DELAWARE every Tuesday to f*** some old man for $1,000.”
Poochie also wrote, “I hate you for everything that you’ve been doing to my brother. Even when you know you’ve been cheating on him first!” According to Poochie, Martson forced Jay Smith to be okay with her sugar daddy situation.
The relationship between these two 90 Day Fiancé stars has become murkier at best. While Jay Smith has been caught cheating, could it truly be the case that he was set up?
