Inside Elizabeth and Andrei’s struggles on ’90 Day Fiancé’

Season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? has just started yet Elizabeth and Andrei have already faced their share of troubles. Most of their issues stem from his struggles to find a job and his contentious relationship with her side of the family.

Andrei was planning on getting a truck driving license. He also worked for Elizabeth’s dad at one point but has since had a difficult time finding work. 90 Day Fiancé fans have criticized him for not providing for his family and relying too much on Elizabeth’s money.

To make things even worse, Elizabeth has stressed the importance of family and feels like Andrei is constantly rude to her parents. Although they are currently back in his home country of Moldova, she has made it clear that she isn’t going to be a subservient wife — something that is apparently common in his country.

The most recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé almost made it clear that Elizabeth is not going to have complete control over her upcoming wedding. Considering how she is the breadwinner of the family, this probably isn’t going to end well.

Is Andrei still out of a job?

Andrei’s lack of stable work is clearly one of his and Elizabeth’s biggest issues on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?. While Elizabeth’s family is wealthy enough to provide, they don’t approve of his lack of a career.

In light of his job woes, Andrei has settled into his new vocation as a full-time stay-at-home dad. Andrei’s new gig doesn’t pay the bills, but he told viewers that he is supportive of “equal rights for men and women,” which somehow justifies his new position.

Elizabeth has made it clear that she wishes Andrei had a job that could support their family. But she also recognizes that he is a good dad and has done an “amazing” job raising their daughter, Eleanor.

We don’t know if Andrei will ever get a job outside of his work at home but money will likely continue to be an issue for them. Luckily, Elizabeth’s job is enough for them to pay the bills.

Elizabeth fires back at ’90 Day Fiancé’ fans over the abuse rumors

With Elizabeth and Andrei getting into some explosive fights on the show, 90 Day Fiancé fans have speculated that there might be some abuse going on behind the scenes. Fortunately, it sounds like their arguments have not escalated beyond shouting matches.

During an interview on the podcast, Hey Frase, Elizabeth opened up about the abuse rumors and assured fans that nothing of the sort is happening in their relationship.

She also stated that she was “disgusted” by the rumors and thought it was pretty low that 90 Day Fiancé fans would spread those kinds of lies, especially considering how people deal with real abuse all the time.

Andrei added that physical abuse is about the “lowest thing” a person can do in a relationship. He even went as far as saying men who abuse their spouses aren’t real men at all.

Elizabeth and Andrei may have their differences, but it is good to hear that they are on the same page when it comes to speaking out against domestic abuse.
