This season on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fans have witnessed Asuelu Pulaa caught in between two families. Asuelu has his American wife Kalani Faagata and their two kids to take care of. He also has his Samoan family laying claim to his income. TLC has presented the story as a clash between two cultures, but Asuelu’s sister says that’s not the whole truth. She claims 90 Day Fiancé is scripted, and she says she has proof.

Kalani confronted Asuelu’s Samoan family about their money demands

As Soap Dirt points out, Asuelu’s mother, Lesina, and his sister, Tammy Acosta, have not been shy about asking Asuelu for money. They continue to demand cash from the 90 Day Fiancé star despite the fact that he doesn’t have a full-time job. He also has two small children to take care of.

Kalani has made it clear to her in-laws that she’s not happy about their cash demands and their lack of concern for the kids. She believes that Asuelu’s top priority should be his wife and children, not his parents and siblings.

During a recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé, Kalani confronted Lesina and Tammy, but the mother-daughter duo refused to back down. They insisted that it was Asuelu’s responsibility to give them money, and they also took it one step further.

They called Kalani “lazy” for not working full-time so she and Asuelu would have even more money to give. Tammy also accused Kalani of controlling Asuelu before threatening to beat her up.

After the blowout between Kalani, Lesina, and Tammy, Asuelu insisted that his money was strictly for his wife and sons.

The ’90 Day Fiancé’ star’s family has a shocking sense of entitlement

90 Day Fiancé fans have voiced their shock and disgust with Asuelu’s Samoan family on social media over their sense of entitlement. Even though it is common in Samoan culture for adult children to take care of their elderly parents financially, Tammy’s behavior is baffling to many fans.

She has lived in the United States for years, and is married to a man named Erik Acosta. They also share two children of their own. Tammy claims that she and her husband send money to family in Samoa, and she continues to go after Asuelu for failing to do his part.

As Screen Rant notes, the 90 Day Fiancé star is still not on board with the idea of giving Asuelu’s family “free money.” She also has no intention of leaving her kids at home and getting a job just so she can send the money to other people.

Kalani’s fight with Asuelu’s family ultimately escalated past money. Tammy accused Kalani of getting pregnant on purpose and “brainwashing” Asuelu. Lesina also made it clear that she “doesn’t care about the kids.”

Asuelu’s sister claims ’90 Day Fiancé’ is scripted

After a season of money fights on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Asuelu’s other sister Paepaealofa Pulaa now claims that it was all just for show.

But Paepaealofa says Asuelu is still sending money to Samoa regularly, and she has the receipts to prove it. According to Soap Dirt, Asuelu has been consistently sending cash as recently as this month.

Paepaealofa shared photos of wire transfer receipts from Asuelu. She also received money from sisters Tammy and Rosa, who are both in the United States. The translation from Paepaealofa’s post shows that she joked about how they “locked the house and put the cash in the refrigerator to keep it cool.”

She also proudly shared that people told her she’s got “too much money in the bank.” In another post, Asuelu’s sibling suggested that 90 Day Fiancé is scripted and she is profiting because of it.

“Let me tell the world, I’m the only one who benefits from that TV show,” she wrote. “They just act only but THEY send the money over to Samoa for me and my dad to spend it all.”
