’90 Day Fiancé: Fans Accuse Brandon Gibbs of Photoshopping New Thirst Trap Photos
Brandon Gibbs and his wife Julia Trubkina rose to fame on 90 Day Fiancé Season 8. When fans first met Gibbs, he was a skinny guy living on his parent’s farm. Since then, Gibbs has had a bit of a glow-up. He claims to have really been focusing on his fitness and eating healthier lately. However, after he posted an update on his fitness progress, fans started doubting if the pictures were real.
’90 Day Fiancé’ star Brandon shows off new body
On Aug. 4, Gibbs posted two side-by-side photos of himself standing outside shirtless in sweatpants.
“While Julia was away I decided to go through a strict cutting phase. Is it worth not eating delicious fattening foods every day?” he captioned the image. “I don’t think so.”
Some people were supportive of Gibbs’ new look, like 90 Day Fiancé castmember Andrei Castravet.
“Damnnn, straight on the cover of playgirl magazine for you,” he wrote.
“That’s farming for ya!!! Best exercise around lol,” one fan wrote.
“How we never got to see this side of Brandon on TV??” another person commented.
“Farm work does this… but you can eat whatever while working 12-16+ hours a day,” one user wrote. “I know from experience.”
Some fans think Brandon is photoshopping
While some comments were positive, others called Gibbs out for potentially photoshopping the images.
“Am I the only one who thinks this is photoshopped around the midsection?” one person commented. “Something isn’t proportioned right.”
WAIT… Is this real or fake?” another person said. “Because there’s no way skinny lil Brandon is this buff. No way.”
“I just do not see this on the show ..looks so boyish,” one person wrote. “Hard to believe this is under the clothes.”
“Is that photoshopped?” one fan asked. “Brandon’s head on Lou Ferrigno’s body (The Hulk) lol.”
So many photoshopping comments were made that Trubkina addressed them.
“People are you serious?” she wrote. “You think he sits at home and learns photoshop programs to make post to Instagram. please stop talking s—🤯🤯if nothing helps you except photoshop, I’m sorry.😂 Brandon just go to the gym.”
Are ’90 Day Fiancé’ stars Brandon and Julia still together?
During Trubkina and Gibbs’ season of 90 Day Fiancé, Trubkina threatened to leave Gibbs several times due to not wanting to live with his parents anymore. She also nagged Gibbs about listening to his parents so much and not being an independent person. So, when she left the United States for a while, fans wondered if the two had broken up.
Trubkina later made an Instagram post addressing those comments.
“The most important question, are you divorced?” she wrote. “Brandon is my soul! I am grateful to fate that he is my husband. I came to see my family and do important things. We do everything together, this is the first time when I am alone and we seem to have returned to those days when we made a visa.”
It seem that Trubkina is already back in America though as she commented about her return on Gibb’s fitness post.
“I’m back,” she commented on the post. “Hello pizza and delicious food.”
So, it seems that all is right with Gibbs and Trubkina.
