’90 Day Fiancé’: Fans and Castmates React to Ariela Weinberg’s Steamy New Photo with Biniyam Shibre
90 Day Fiancé fans weren’t too sure about the fate of Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre’s marriage after they first appeared on the second season of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way.
But, at least according to social media, the couple is going strong and seems to be living together happily. Most recently, Ariela’s steamy kissing photo with Biniyam got both fans and 90 Day Fiancé stars talking.
Biniyam and Ariela had an unconventional road to love
Ariela, a freelance writer from Princeton, New Jersey, met Biniyam, a choreographer and dancer, during a spontaneous trip to his home country of Ethiopia. She had just gotten a divorce from her first husband, but she didn’t stay single for long after spotting Biniyam while hailing a taxi outside her hotel. Sparks flew between the two, and Ariela was pregnant with their son, Avi, within a matter of months.
Right away, Ariela knew she wanted to move to Ethiopia so she and Biniyam could raise their son together. But a few issues raised 90 Day Fiancé fans’ eyebrows – like the fact that Biniyam had already been married, albeit briefly, to another American woman. She, too, had a son with him, but the former couple was no longer in contact.
When Ariela did move to Ethiopia, the couple’s religious and cultural differences became much more apparent. Ariela’s mother, a nurse herself, was concerned about the living conditions and approach to healthcare in the area. Ariela and Biniyam also clashed about how they would raise their son in terms of religion: She was Jewish, while Biniyam practiced Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity.
Ariela put fans’ questions to rest with an affectionate photo
Since their appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Ariela and Biniyam have dispelled any concerns that they might have broken up on social media. Their many affectionate posts about one another, as well as their son, made it clear that they were still very much together after filming ended.
On Feb. 2, Ariela took things even further with an Instagram photo of the couple embracing on the beach. Both Biniyam and Ariela closed their eyes and leaned in for a liplock in the dreamy snapshot.
The 90 Day Fiancé star paired the sexy photo with an affectionate caption aimed at her sweetheart, writing: “When you walk through the door I will kiss you like this! My sweet soul! My soft heart!”

Many 90 Day Fiancé fans chimed in to gush over the cute photo of Ariela and Biniyam, as well as to offer their congratulations to the couple for staying together against the odds.
“Watched your story on 90 Day, fell in love with your love!” one Instagram user wrote. “The struggles made you stronger! I wish only the best for you two!”
Another fan praised Ariela for making so many sacrifices to move across the world for love and motherhood.
“Ari, I have to say that motherhood, love, Africa…it all looks beautiful on you!” they wrote. “I was on the fence watching your story unfold last season. But you have chutzpah! Your courage, your determination, your commitment, all of it is really moving.”
Even one of Ariela and Biniyam’s TLC castmates, Tom Brooks – who famously dated Darcey Silva on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days – called them his “favorite 90 Day couple.” Tom’s sister, Emma-Jayne Perez Chies, and TLC star Leida Margaretha also offered their well wishes to the couple.
