‘90 Day Fiancé’: Fans Are Worried That Deavan Clegg’s Daughter Drascilla May Have a Serious Illness
Though the couples on 90 Day Fiancé may just intend to put their relationships out to be scrutinized by the public eye, their entire lives end up getting judged as well, and that includes their family members. Since Deavan Clegg first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, fans have been a bit concerned about her daughter Drascilla and now, things are only getting worse.
Deavan and Jihoon’s relationship
This season on The Other Way, Clegg and Jihoon Lee’s relationship has just gone from bad to worse. First, Lee lied to Clegg about having a job so that she would come to Korea.
“I don’t really have a job,” he said on the show. “I have a side job doing deliveries. It goes by the hour and it’s a part-time job. I lied to Deavan because if I have no money, Deavan’s not [coming] to Korea.”
When Clegg found out, she felt scammed.
“Jihoon admitting that he’s not financially ready for us to come to Korea is devastating because he told me everything was fine,” Clegg told the cameras. “But he lied to trick me into coming and that’s not OK.”
This realization made her seriously doubt being with Lee and consider going back to America.
What’s wrong with Drascilla?
Clegg’s daughter went with her to Korea. As fans have been watching the little girl on The Other Way for two seasons now, they have wondered about her pale appearance and whether it could be an indicator of something more serious. Earlier this year, Clegg got tired of the remarks and addressed the issue on Instagram.
“UPDATE: I sat here thinking I’m not going to let it get to me anymore,” she captioned a picture of Drascilla. “People are are rude and need to work on themselves. I’ll continue to show my beautiful kids because I love them.
It’s come to my attention that Jihoon posted a photo with Drascilla. The lighting making her look tired because of shadows. I’ve received email after email threatening me. Now my child is healthy and happy. Has everything she could wish for. She does amazing at school, helps with her brother, stays active and healthy.
“Everyone commenting on her fair complexion being a problem made me sick to my stomach. Drascilla and I are very pale naturally. When we stand next to someone who has tan skin like Jihoon of course we will look more fair skin. There is nothing wrong or unhealthy about having fair skin.”
Is Drascilla OK?
At the end of last week’s episode, Lee was seen carrying Drascilla home from the park when she started squirming and asking to be put down. Then Drascilla somehow managed to get away from the group and run away. Clegg and her mother both began screaming at Drascilla to come back.
In the preview for this week’s episode, Clegg’s mother says she only feels “rage” for Jihoon.
But fans shouldn’t be too concerned about the little girl. Whether it was just dramatic editing or the situation quickly resolved itself, Drascilla is fine now. There have been videos posted on social media since filming stopped of Drascilla looking happy and all in one piece.
