The new series will premiere on Saturday, May 29, 2021, on the streaming service, and fans will see the couples mentioned cooking in their own kitchens. According to a press release, “expect a dash of sass and a lot of fun when favorite couples invite you into their kitchens and dish on recipes for relationship success, all while preparing traditional meals from their home countries.” The couples will answer questions from fans as well, so things could get interesting. Cast members will also “spill the beans on the challenges and triumphs of intercultural relationships and their incredible relationship journeys together.”

As can be expected, fans are already talking about this new venture on Reddit. A week ago, a fan shared a Deadline article about the new spinoff in a Reddit post, and fans couldn’t help but react.

Some fans don’t seem on board for this new type of show. “We liked seeing these people in the run up to their weddings; the highs and lows, fights and misunderstandings,” a fan said. “We don’t want to see them cook, ffs.”

“Hard pass,” a fan bluntly says.

One fan admits they’ll be “skipping” 90 Day: Foody Call. “Booooooring,” they said. “I’m so tired of seeing the same old couples (except Sasha and Emily, been a while). I have no tolerance for Pao or Tania. Will be skipping this and D+ continues to disappoint.”

“Wtf?! Who wants to watch those couples cook?” a fan wondered. “Sharp is seriously reaching with this one.”

But a fan responded with a different take. “Speak for yourself, sis!” they said. “I could watch David and Annie and Loren and Alexei all day. My life sucks, and their lives Ra perfect!”

“Not Russ & Pao……. smh,” a fan added.

Many fans seem to have a negative outlook on the new spinoff, 90 Day: Foody Call, although there will be fans that will watch.
