’90 Day Fiancé: What Now? Loren & Alexei’s Birth Special’

After their time on 90 Day Fiancé, Loren and Alexei starred in a number of different spin-offs on TLC. Given their popularity with viewers, the network decided to give the couple their own special as part of 90 Day Fiancé: What Now? titled Loren & Alexei’s Birth Special.

The special started when Loren was 36 weeks into her pregnancy, offering fans a look at their journey into parenthood. At the time, the couple was hunkering down in their Florida home amid the coronavirus pandemic.

With the pair adhering to the rules of the shutdown, Loren did not leave the house outside of a few walks and a trip to the spa right before the birth. During the special, she admitted that having a baby during a pandemic took an “emotional and mental toll.”

Alexei added that the entire situation was “weird and strange,” especially when it came to all of the uncertainties surrounding the birth. To complicate things even further, Alexei’s parents were unable to travel to see the birth of their grandson.

Loren, meanwhile, had to schedule a C-section after doctors diagnosed her with having “an incompetent cervix.” Fortunately, everything worked out for the couple and their son was born without complications.

How did Loren and Alexei meet?

Between their birthing special and their appearances on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? and 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk, it seems like Loren and Alexei have become staples on TLC’s popular reality franchise.

While it has been several years since the couple made their first appearance on 90 Day Fiancé, fans may remember that they first met when Loren took a birthright trip to Israel.

These types of journeys are common in Jewish families, but little did Loren know that it would change her life forever. After meeting Alexei in Israel, she decided to give up her career and home in exchange for love.

Although they have had their share of struggles over the years, the two continue to be one of the more popular couples in the 90 Day Fiancé world.

Fortunately, Loren recently revealed that they will continue to update fans on their lives on social media, including sharing new photos of their adorable son.

Alexei opens up about meeting their early struggles on ’90 Day Fiancé’

While his wife was dealing with all the stresses of having a child during a pandemic, Alexei reflected on everything they had been through the past few years. He admitted that he never thought he would end up marrying Loren when they first met, but it didn’t take long before he was fully committed to their relationship.

Alexei tried to visit Loren in the United States during the early days of their relationship but failed to secure a Tourist Visa. Following the rejections, the pair opted to apply for a K-1 Visa, which eventually enabled him to move to the US — and star on 90 Day Fiancé.

Although they were together in America, they faced plenty of hurdles along the way. This includes Loren inviting strippers to her bachelorette party prior to their wedding in 2015. But after enjoying a second ceremony in 2016 in his native country of Israel, the pair made plans to start a family.

But before she agreed to have a baby, Loren wanted Alexei to get his citizenship. Luckily, Alexei finished that process right before the pandemic hit, which made Loren breathe a sigh of relief.

“Timing really is everything, and the fact he already became a citizen right before the whole coronavirus thing really broke out, we are just really, really lucky. I can’t even imagine being stuck in that process right now,” she shared.
