90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way is back, and that means more drama to come. Brittany Banks moved to Jordan to start a life with Yazan, but there have been issues from the moment she landed.

After Brittany receives word in regards to her divorce, she hops on a plane back to Chicago to handle matters. And of course, she doesn’t tell Yazan the full truth about her trip.

Yazan’s parents are anxious for the couple to get married, but Brittany is still married to her ex. They were wed when she was 22, but she actually met him when she was 17. They had similar friends in common, and they were only married for a few months before Brittany’s ex was deported. He is from Haiti, and moved to the United States when he was only three-years-old.

Brittany received word that her divorce hearing is happening in Chicago, so she got a ticket back. She doesn’t tell Yazan the full truth, and instead mentions that she has stuff to do, and her sister is having her baby.

What happens when Brittany goes to court?

Brittany is “nervous,” but she goes through with the court date all the same. She also feels “really bad” that she’s keeping it all from Yazan. “I feel really bad that I’ve been keeping this secret,” Brittany explains. “If I’m not actually divorced today, I don’t know when I’m going to tell Yazan about the situation.”

Three hours go by, and Brittany comes out of the courthouse still married. “So, I am still married,” Brittany explains. “I am appalled and shocked. This is not what I expected.” She says she saw a court officer, and got some bad news. She says, “the court officer went on the computer and saw that they hadn’t uploaded anything in the clerk’s office. I flew all the way from Jordan for nothing.”

Brittany unfortunately will need to refile, so she has to stay in the United States longer than she expected. But what will she tell Yazan?

In a first look at the upcoming episode, Brittany still finds herself in Chicago trying to make her divorce happen. She takes the time to visit with her sister, Virginia, who has just given birth to a newborn daughter.

Brittany relays everything that happened in court, including that none of her paperwork was in the system at all. “I can not stay here waiting for this paperwork forever because Yazan doesn’t know that I’m still married, or the real reason why I came back here,” Brittany reveals.

She tells her sister that Yazan’s family thinks that they are going to get married when she returns to Jordan, and they’ll want to know whether or not Brittany will convert to Islam or not. She explains that Yazan’s parents are “really old school.” Virginia tells the cameras that Brittany isn’t “ready” for it. She asks Brittany if she is going to convert, and Brittany says, “I mean, I don’t know.”

Virginia says she’s “concerned” about Brittany, and she gets teared up when talking about. She goes on to ask Brittany if she’s planning things “day by day.”

“Yeah,” Brittany says. “I mean, I don’t even know if I can go back to Jordan while I’m still married.”

Brittany tells the cameras that if she doesn’t secure her divorce, the relationship with Yazan “will be over,” and that’s a drastic scenario. “I know my sister is worried, but I need to get this divorce finalized because I can’t keep buying time,” Brittany tells producers. “If I don’t come back to Jordan with the divorce papers, our relationship will be over.”

What’s going to happen from here? Will Brittany get the divorce she so desperately wants? Will she tell Yazan the truth about things? There are so many questions that need to be answered. Hopefully, fans will learn more soon enough.
