90 Day Fiancé couple Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou have been together for years, and still there’s not a marriage in sight. For a long time, fans have been unsure what to make of this couple. While some fans still seem to support the couple, wishing them success and a happy future, there are others who don’t feel so sure about their potential union.

Many fans feel as if Azan Tefou could possibly be playing Nicole Nafziger, and taking advantage of her for money. The two haven’t seen each other in person in a long time, and Tefou has a habit of canceling trips right before they can happen.

Now, Tefou has made his return to Instagram, posting again for the first time since 2018. Some fans are busy drooling over his shirtless selfies, but others aren’t having it — they’re demanding Tefou give back the $6,000 Nafziger once sent him.

The $6,000 dollars

Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou have postponed marriage a couple of times now. Most recently, the 90 Day Fiancé couple claimed they were putting marriage on hold while they worked together on a business venture. Nafziger and Tefou claimed they wanted to open a beauty store in Morocco.

To this end, Nafziger sent Tefou $6,000 of her own money — a sizable chunk of cash for a single mother who was previously working as a Starbucks barista. When Nafziger’s sister expressed concern on the show over the fact that they’re still not married, Nafziger replied, “We decided to just like, start a shop or something to get like, an income and then kinda get married.”

However, it wasn’t long before the truth came out. According to Nafziger, there’s no beauty shop in Morocco at all. During a 90 Day Fiancé confessional, Nafziger said, “Even though I told my mom that we were talking about opening a store, we never winded up going through with it. There is no store.”

During an Instagram Q&A, Nafziger also revealed that there was never any $6,000. “Plot twist. No store = There was no 6k,” wrote Nafziger. “Why did we lie? Because we suck at reality TV. IDK. I’m so tired of this show. Sorry TLC. I”m tired of y’all. But they didn’t tell us to say it.”

Rumors about Azan Tefou

Meanwhile, fans have been wondering if Azan Tefou is all that he claims to be. Recently, an Instagram user claiming to have ties to Tefou’s family came forward with shocking claims about the 90 Day Fiancé star.

The user, who claimed to know Tefou’s aunt, wrote, “I am a europian moroccan and i know his aunt. She laugh so hard about Nicole and they all know that Azan is not in love with Nicole and they support him in taking her money. They are NEVER gonne let him marry Nicole. Sorry for the bad English.”

Fans lash out at Tefou

Now that Azan Tefou is back on Instagram, he’s got a bevy of aggressive and angry fans to face down in his comments. Nicole Nafziger has sent Tefou money in the past, even if the $6,000 was a lie like she claims, and some fans don’t like that. They feel as if Tefou is taking advantage of Nafziger.

One commenter wrote, “Stop being a user and give Nicole her money back so she can give May a proper home and life. That beautiful child deserves a wonderful stable home. She doesn’t need to be running from the U.S. to Morocco because her mom is chasing a man that doesn’t love her.”

They went on to add, “If you love Nicole you wouldn’t take her money. You would be the man and send her money to help raise her daughter. You need to stop and think about it. Would you want a man doing your daughter that way? Your sister? Karma is a b**** and she always returns to the favor. Please grow up and be a man.”

Another user asked, “How does he manage to pay for the gym but can’t support himself financially without Nicole sending him money.”

Meanwhile, Nafziger says she no longer sends Tefou money, and that even when she did, it was only “sometimes.”
