Colombia native Jeniffer Tarazona of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days has always had an uneasy relationship with her American boyfriend Tim Malcolm’s ex, Veronica.

Veronica Rodriguez dated Malcolm for several years before the couple got engaged. After they broke it off, the pair remained in touch and continued to co-parent Veronica’s 12-year-old daughter Chloe, who is not Malcolm’s biological daughter.

Malcolm’s unconventional relationship with Veronica didn’t put Tarazona at ease, especially because Tarazona is a mom herself (to daughter Violet) and worried that Malcolm would have greater loyalty to his ex’s child. And when Malcolm gave her Veronica’s former engagement ring as a “promise ring” during his trip to Colombia on 90 Day Fiancé, well, it didn’t exactly help matters.

On Nov. 9, the drama between the two women went public…and got ugly. A video of Tarazona’s turned into an all-out social media fight. Here’s the complete breakdown of the 90 Day Fiancé drama.

Jeniffer’s Instagram video sparked shade from Veronica

On Nov. 9, Jeniffer posted a video of herself in cat-eye makeup, swaying back and forth and posing for the camera at what looks like an outdoor patio or bar. “I’m not bad, I’m just drawn that way,” she quipped next to the short video.

Rodriguez apparently didn’t see the video as entirely harmless. “What are you on?!?” she commented under the post. “Hopefully Violet is with your momma or her dad tonight…”

Tarazona defended herself almost immediately, writing: “what r u even talking about?” with a laughing emoji.

Rodriguez seemed to walk back her harsher claims

At first, Rodriguez appeared to try to back off of the shade in her original comments. “Just saying you look like you’re having a fun Saturday and imbibing…hope you’re being safe and having a fun night 😘,” she replied. “You deserve to let loose every once in a while from one single mom to the next…”

Tarazona, for her part, held her ground with her fellow 90 Day Fiancé cast member. She threw out an assertive comment of her own, saying: “Yes [of] course, but not tonight I’m already in pajamas and putting my baby to sleep. Too much designwork to do this next hours, but thank you for caring so much.”

And after enough fans told Rodriguez to mind her own business, she seemed to try again to claim that she had never thrown shade in the first place. “I never accused her of doing drugs nor did I ask her about sex with Tim,” she said, referencing the infamous video chat on 90 Day Fiancé in which she seemed to ask invasive questions about Malcolm’s sex life with Tarazona.

“I asked about their connection,” she claimed in the same Instagram comment. “I’m all about energy and hers seemed a bit off tonight…just wanted to make sure she was happy and in a good place…”

Most ’90 Day Fiancé’ fans defended Jeniffer over Veronica

Fans weren’t buying Rodriguez’s claims that she had never meant to insult her ex’s Colombian on-again, off-again girlfriend.

They immediately jumped to Tarazona’s defense, arguing that Rodriguez was “jealous” of the 90 Day Fiancé star’s beauty or her possible current relationship with Malcolm.

Many said that Veronica was “controlling” and should keep her comments to herself. Fans commented in the thread, in addition to heading to Veronica’s personal Instagram page to push back against her “shaming” of Jeniffer.

To those accusations, Rodriguez replied, “Yup I sure am jealous…I have Chloe 24/7/365… wish I could let loose like that!” She added in another comment in part, “I don’t know what fun looks like without my kid cause she’s with me allllllll the time.”

To another fan’s criticism, she wrote, “I’d apologize except I’m unapologetically me.” Rodriguez also doubled down on her opinions about both Tarazona and Malcolm, writing: “I will be going to mass and confession tomorrow and will repent for any lies I’ve told…unfortunately this is not one of them.”

Tim Malcolm’s ex claims he isn’t very involved in her daughter’s life

Tarazona didn’t say as much in the thread as Malcolm’s ex did, but she did allege that, as another mom, Veronica was being a tad hypocritical. “The funny part is that @el_gringo_charlotte [Tim] always told me he actually helps u a lot with Chloe so u can go out and have fun,” she wrote to Veronica. She added that her boyfriend’s ex should stop making “assumptions.”

That’s when Veronica hit back with a bombshell claim about Malcolm, whom she’s referenced as her “co-parent” in the past. “That’s funny he hasn’t seen her in 2 months 🤔,” she replied. “Nonetheless if I don’t have Chloe with me I don’t take mind-altering substances (not suggesting you do, but you might wanna have a little chat with your eyes….).”

Rodriguez even claimed in another Instagram comment to “support [Tim] financially,” which flies in the face of what many 90 Day Fiancé fans have previously assumed.

Malcolm didn’t get involved in the Instagram argument and didn’t issue a public statement about the drama between his girlfriend and his ex on social media.
