90 Day Fiancé couple Kalani and Asuelu are not on the same page when it comes to having more kids — and they haven’t been for a while now. Kalani Faagata has made her feelings clear to Asuelu Pulaa in previous episodes, but it doesn’t seem like her words stuck with him. During Christmas, he gives her a surprising gift that tells her he hasn’t listened. To make matters worse, Tammy and Lesina put additional pressure on Kalani.

Kalani told Asuelu no more kids when car shopping

Asuelu Pulaa made it clear that he hasn’t been listening to Kalani Faagata’s comments about not wanting more children when they went car shopping on 90 Day Fiancé. Kalani and Asuelu went out to look for a new vehicle for Asuelu to do ride-sharing in.

Asuelu was particularly interested in a minivan, but Kalani tried to convince him that it might not be a great choice.

“The minivan? Why do you need a van? I think that’s just a waste of money and gas. … There are cheaper littler ones, and better on gas,” Kalani told him.

When the car salesman hears that Asuelu will be doing ridesharing, he agrees with Kalani that the minivan isn’t his best choice. Asuelu pushes back again, and his wife asks him why he wants the minivan so badly.

“I just want a big one because we have another baby soon, and it’s going to be all fit inside,” Asuelu replies. Kalani is in stunned disbelief.

“When did we talk about having another baby?” she eventually asks.

It doesn’t seem to matter how many times Kalani Faagata tells her 90 Day Fiancé husband she’s not interested in having another baby right now — he never seems to get the message.

Asuelu Pulaa once again disrespected Kalani’s feelings by pressuring her to have more children, this time in the form of a Christmas gift. He gifted her a pink baby blanket, and Tammy and Lesina acted like it was a big surprise and that Kalani should be excited to have another baby.

Kalani was understandably upset with Asuelu, and told him that they had just had this conversation recently, and that it’s not something she wants to air in front of the entire family.

“I want to have a big family. So hopefully my wife will make my dreams come true,” Asuelu told Kalani.

“We just talked about it. That this is something between us and it’s very private, and it’s not something you talk about in front of other people. I gave you my answer and I don’t want to keep being pressured into having a baby,” Kalani shot back.

“Why are you so upset Kalani?” asked Tammy.

“So Kalani you don’t want to pregnant again and have another baby? You don’t want?” Lesina pressed her.

“I can’t even believe that we’re having this conversation right now, I feel like we’re in the Twilight Zone,” Kalani replied.

Tammy and Lesina continued to put pressure on Kalani Faagata, telling her that she should be an obedient wife to her 90 Day Fiancé husband.

“You know in Samoa, the Samoan woman listen to her husband. So me, I’ve got nine kids. Yeah,” said Lesina, while Kalani looked on in utter shock.

“My whole life’s purpose isn’t just to pop out a thousand children, it p-sses me off. And the most hypocritical thing of all is that Tammy only has two kids. So why are we not bugging little Tam Tam about putting some kids in her uterus instead of talking to me about it?”

“Kalani look at me. I’m selfless. I’ve got nine children, and I’m fine,” says Lesina, the same woman that said kids don’t matter to her, only cash.

“It’s her body. She can say that she doesn’t want another baby in her body right now,” Kolini told Lesina and Tammy.
