‘90 Day Fiancé’ Season 9 star Kara says she was the ‘epitome of a party girl on the highest level’

Twenty-nine-year-old Kara is six years Guillermo’s senior, but that didn’t stop the couple from diving into a relationship. Kara refers to herself as a “jill of all trades,” working in several different industries over the years.

Kara tells the 90 Day Fiancé Season 9 producers in a recent teaser, “I’ve been a chef, I’ve done barista-ing. I’ve been a dancer and been paid for that, singer – been paid for that. I recorded audio for audiobooks, massage therapy. I mean, the list goes on and on.”

In her twenties, Kara began traveling all over the world. During that time, she lived in four countries and now speaks three languages.

She continues in her confessional, “I was partying, drinking, and meeting tons of people. You know, living my best life. I definitely was not setting aside any time for a relationship. I am the epitome of ‘party girl’ on like the highest level.”

‘90 Day Fiancé’ Season 9 couple Kara and Guillermo met when she took a job in the Dominican Republic

Kara and Guillermo met while she worked in the Dominican Republic. She had met a coworker at a restaurant to work together when Guillermo approached their table.

“I was literally just sitting at a table with my computer, working with my colleague, when this waiter strolled up to our table and said, ‘Ladies, it’s tequila time!’ I was like ‘Damn, he’s cute.’”

Kara points out that her colleague mentioned how young Guillermo looked, “She thought he was like a young boy, which he probably was, but he’s a beautiful young boy. I mean, he was 21. It was definitely legal.”

After their initial encounter, the 90 Day Fiancé star said she and Guillermo exchanged numbers, and the two started chatting before one thing led to another. Kara’s job allowed her to permanently move to the Dominican Republic, and she says that within the first few days of her arrival, Guillermo started spending almost every night at her house. The two adopted a dog together, which they named Cheeky Mama.
