’90 Day Fiancé’: Laura Jallali Wants To Date Geoffrey Paschel, Feels Bad He’s Being ‘Judged’ for Domestic Assault Allegations
Laura Jallali appeared in the first season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. She married Aladin Jallali in July 2018, and the couple split in Oct. 2019 after the season tell-all. Today, they are officially divorced. In an interview that took place on Oct. 21, Laura spoke about who from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise she has her eye on now that she’s a single woman.

In an interview with Domenick Nati, Laura was asked who from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise she’d like to date.
“Definitely Geoffrey [Paschel] has the physique,” she responded. “I like his personality actually. I think he’s very outgoing. He’s like me, he’s got a sense of craziness. And he’s cute, he’s handsome. And I am Ukrainian, so I do know how to make Russian food, Geoffrey. I can make a cabbage role, pierogi, borscht. Hello! I’m Irish so I like to drink, but I’m also Ukrainian so I like to cook.”

Nati also asked Laura how she feels about Geoffrey’s “legal trouble” and if the reality stars ever speak.
“I feel bad for him,” she said. “We do talk. Not as much as we used to. We used to talk a lot. But, yeah, I feel bad for Geoff because, unfortunately, he is being pre-judged way too quickly. Like, just let the court system do their thing before you can judge the guy. Like, just chill on him.”
Laura went on to say she feels Geoffrey is “a pretty decent man” based on “the things that I see of him.”
“He’s got a really good heart,” she said. “And oh my God he loves his babies, which is very attractive about a man to a woman. When you see how much they care for his children. And, I mean, he has custody of two of his children. So the guy can’t be that bad. I think that’s a real man that takes custody of his kids and raises them. That’s a real manly thing and very attractive to a woman to see somebody who’s that responsible.”

When Paschel was interviewed by Nati back in May, he spoke about his arrest.
“When I first got arrested in June it was for domestic assault, which is bad in itself but it’s a misdemeanor,” he said. “They tried to drop the chargers but the ‘victim’ [he said using air quotes] didn’t want to drop it. She pressed forward. They offered me no punishment whatsoever just to have it on my record. I said, ‘No. Absolutely not.’ They said, ‘If you don’t take it, we’re gonna take you to the grand jury, try to trump up the charges, we’ll try to get you on kidnapping…’ I was like, ‘You do whatever the hell you want to do. I am not accepting anything other than a full exoneration.’ So that’s what they did.”
During his season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, fans found out that Geoffrey had been accused of domestic assault, among other things in his past. So they started a petition to get him removed from the show. As a result, he was uninvited from the season tell-all.
“I feel that the network has bowed down to the pressure of a few thousand people as opposed to the 3 million people that watch the show, which is unfortunate,” he said of the network’s decision. “We’re in a different time now. The whole Me Too movement and whatever. So there’s a lot of pressure to cower to the minority.”
Geoffrey has since appeared in court but has said very little about what took place.
