Just because a couple makes it through their season of 90 Day Fiancé, doesn’t mean they are meant to last forever. Olga Koshimbetova and Steven Frend finished season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé together and even got married but now the two have called it quits.

Olga and Steven’s relationship

Koshimbetova and Frend met when Koshimbetova was visiting America from Russia. What was meant to be a fun fling turned a bit more serious when Koshimbetova found out she was pregnant. Freund went to Russia to be there for their son’s birth. The longer Frend stayed in Russia, the more he and Koshimbetova argued. At the end of the season, Frend proposed to his Russian girlfriend but also revealed that he had not actually applied for the K-1 visa for her to come to America. So, the season ended with Frend going back home alone.

From married to traveling alone

In April of 2019, Koshimbetova was finally allowed to move to the U.S.

“Sorry I’ve been on a [social media] break while I work on plans, I’m in the U.S. now, Olga will be here in a week or [two],” Freund wrote at the time, announcing Koshimbetova’s visa approval, according to InTouch.

The couple announced that they were married in August of that same year.

But recently, fans noticed that Koshimbetova was posting a lot of pictures without her husband. On Sep. 22, the Russian mom addressed fans’ questions.

“Where is Steven?” she captioned a photo on Instagram. “Where did you go? Why did you go alone? And many many others questions I received when I told that I’m going to California.

“For those who didn’t know, I have a family here,” she continued. “My uncle came here 23 years ago, alone, without perfect English, without friends but after all these years they have a big family, which included friends and other relatives.”

She told fans that she had planned to visit her uncle earlier but the trip got postponed. When she finally decided to go, it was without Frend.

“And another reason: why it was a good idea to go alone without Steven, because we finally started to miss each other😂😂 Spending 24/7 with each other can be really tough,” she wrote. “Did ever go somewhere without your partner? Or do you always together?”

Olga and Steven’s breakup

Earlier this week, Frend took to his Instagram Stories to reveal that he and Koshimbetova were over.

“People keep asking if Olga and I are [together] but the answer is we went into this super blindly,” he wrote. “There’s a lot the show left out that’ll have people confused but we have learned a lot about each other over this whole journey but we’re better at being coparents to our boy. We are both civil and cause no drama because our son’s mental health is too priority. P.S. Don’t assume you know the full story from this one little post.”

While Koshimbetova has not posted about the breakup on her Instagram like Freund, she did respond to fans asking about the split.

“I have not written a post on this topic, but at the moment, as a couple, we are not together,” she wrote in a comment that has been translated from Russian by In Touch. “Hopefully all for the best, but for now I don’t want to comment on this.”
