Kenny and Armando

It’s Kenny and Armando’s wedding weekend, and Kenny’s family is flying into Mexico for the event. It’s been a year and a half since Kenny’s daughter Madison and her son, Cooper, has seen him. Armando is worried that when Kenny’s family leaves, it will be difficult for him, and he will want to return to the United States.

It’s the morning before the wedding, and Armando’s family is traveling to the wedding venue. Armando texted his father to see if he would be attending the wedding, but he responded with a cold one-sentence response that wasn’t very reassuring that he would be coming. Kenny encourages Kenny to call his mother to see who is coming. To everyone’s surprise, Armando’s mother reveals that his father is in the car with them and on their way to the wedding.

Alina and Steven

Two weeks have passed since Steven’s proposal, and Alina is happy with her relationship with Steven. However, she’s worried that the marriage process will take longer than they left on their Turkey visa. If they don’t start the marriage process soon, they will run out of time on their visa, and they will have to separate.

Steven says he’s ready to marry Alina now, even though he wished that he had more time after the proposal to get to know each other more. Steven tells her that he’s worried that she won’t want to be baptized in the LDS faith after they get married and get back to Russia. He thinks that she’s only saying that she will get married. Alina feels like Steven doesn’t trust her and is doubting her commitment to the church.

Ariela and Biniyam

Ariela gave Biniyam an ultimatum that he either goes to Kenya or they will break up and make a custody agreement for him to see Avi. Biniyam agrees to meet her and Avi in Kenya. When Biniyam arrives, he doesn’t have a good feeling about the situation. He feels like if he wants to keep his family, he had no choice but to come to Kenya. He didn’t see Avi or Ari in two and a half months and was excited to see them.

After a not-so-warm welcome by Ariela the following day, they decide to have a serious talk. She hires a translator so that there aren’t any misunderstandings. Ariela tells Biniyam that she feels too ashamed to return to Ethiopia after Biniyam was seen out with other women. She thinks that he cheated on her, but he swears he didn’t. He tells her, “I want this family.” But Ariela says that she won’t have a romantic relationship if he doesn’t own up to the mistakes he’s made.

Jenny and Sumit

It’s day two of Sumit’s parents, Sadhna and Anil, visit Sumit and Jenny’s home. It’s been days of Sadhna trying to make Jenny a proper Indian bride. They invite the family astrologer over to give them advice. He advises Sadhna to let Sumit go. He calls her a “selfish mother” and that she needs to let him live his life if he doesn’t want to lose her son. The astrologer says that their fate is written in the stars and that their interference cannot change fate.

Later on, Sumit’s mother talks to Jenny one-on-one. She tells her that she’s a “good-natured person,” and that she accepts and loves her. Jenny cries, and they embrace. Sadhna said she would change for her son. They finally accept Jenny, but they aren’t able to give her a blessing for marriage.

Sadhna reveals she only accepted Jenny in hopes that their relationship would end. Either way, Sumit is overjoyed. He thanks his mother for taking the big step. She says, “I left it to fate” She decides to let him loose, hoping he will choose not to marry. Now that there’s no more pressure of losing his family, Sumit has no more excuses and can marry Jenny. Still, he’s worried about marrying her so soon.

Evelin and Corey

It’s been two months since Evelin agreed to let Corey move back into their home. He has been sleeping in the spare room, working daily to win her love back. Corey decides that it’s the right time for him to formally ask Evelin to marry him again. He hires a friend with a boat to hold up a sign reading, “Evelin, will you marry me again?”
