Meet Jibri and Miona on ’90 Day Fiancé’ Season 9

Fans first met Jibri Bell and Miona in the 90 Day Fiancé Season 9 premiere. That’s when they found out that he is a 28-year-old biracial musician from Rapid City, South Dakota and she is a 23-year-old Instagram model from Serbia.

Jibri says he left the United States after the death of George Floyd to travel around the world with his band. It was when he was on stage with his band one night in Northern Serbia that he spotted Miona in the crowd.

The couple proceeded to have a whirlwind romance as they traveled together. Then, on one of their trips, Jibri proposed and Miona said yes. But since they’ve gotten engaged, things haven’t really gone as expected.

All of the red flags in Miona and Jibri’s relationship

Miona wants a glamorous “Kardashian lifestyle” in a big American city like Los Angeles, and that’s why she wanted to live in the United States. But what she didn’t quite understand was that Jibri is a struggling musician who lives at his family home in South Dakota. They are hundreds of miles away from the glitz and glamor of Hollywood, and they don’t have money to live the life she wants to live.

Needless to say, Miona’s life in America so far has been nothing close to what she expected or imagined it would be. He’s trying to convince her that South Dakota is a nice place to live. But, she’s not having it.

But the expectations versus reality situation isn’t the only red flag in Miona and Jibri’s relationship. There’s also the issue of how Miona talks recklessly to her son, which caused Jibri’s mother to have major concerns. And viewers completely understand why that’s such a problem.

Some ’90 Day Fiancé’ fans were over Jibri and Miona from the very beginning

After fans met Jibri and Miona in the season 9 premiere, many took to social media to express their disgust and disappointment with TLC over this casting choice. After just one episode, many fans are done with this couple.

“He comes off as arrogant, annoying, immature, idiotic, child like and aching to be the outsider in society. The interaction with his parents was so awkward and just telling of who he is. It was cringe and just so childish,” one angry fan wrote on Reddit.

“…He has nothing going for himself in life and I can guarantee he is on the show to just promote himself and his band in the hopes of making it big with his gold-digging fiancé. You can tell he has no life skills or knows anything about work especially after that attempt to mow the lawn. I don’t think the relationship is real and if it is it won’t last long.”
