Who are Miona and Jibri from ‘90 Day Fiancé’ Season 9?

Jibri lives in South Dakota and works as a musician. He and Miona met when he went on tour with his band in north Serbia. Jibri noticed her in the crowd at one of his concerts. Miona, a 23-year-old Instagram influencer and model, started dating before traveling to different areas of the world. Their romance took off quickly, and before long, Jibri proposed.

The new 90 Day Fiancé Season 9 couple’s goal is to get married. Then Miona will move to America to live with Jibri. However, their plans hit a speed bump when Miona decided she didn’t want to live with Jibri and his parents in South Dakota.

‘90 Day Fiancé’ Season 9 star Miona doesn’t want a ‘small city life’

In a recent clip shared by Entertainment Weekly, Jibri expressed his concerns about whether or not Miona can adjust her spending habits once the couple moves in together after she receives her K-1 Visa.

The 28-year-old South Dakota native said, “I don’t know how much money Miona is bringing to America and how much she’s got saved. Miona and I have not discussed finances, which is huge. It’s very important, especially when a lot of the pressure is being put on my shoulders.”

Jibri also mentioned his and Miona’s dream of eventually moving to Los Angeles. However, he emphasized that the move isn’t “obtainable right now.”

The 90 Day Fiancé Season 9 star continued, “I hope that she can just follow me in this direction of staying in South Dakota, being more conservative with our money, and understanding that we’re thinking about the long-term goal, not just the present.”

The clip from 90 Day Fiancé Season 9 also shows Jibri attempting to explain to Miona that their long-term plan doesn’t include staying in South Dakota forever. However, Miona’s response wasn’t positive.

“I don’t want to live there, Jibri,” the Instagram influencer says. “I don’t know what’s the nicer way to say this, but if I wanted a small-city life, I could just stay here in Niś and live that type of life. I really don’t want to come to America and live like a 50-year-old. I’m sorry.”

Much of Jibri and Miona’s arguments involve their living situation

In the full-length trailer for 90 Day Fiancé Season 9, it appears the couple runs into several bumps in the road. However, most revolve around Jibri’s family and their living situation. Miona doesn’t have any interest in living with Jibri’s family. She tells the TLC cameras, “Living with his parents is definitely going to have to change.”

Later in the trailer, Jibri confesses to Miona that he feels like he’s being given an ultimatum, to which the Serbian beauty replies, “Exactly.”

Fans can expect plenty of drama in 90 Day Fiancé Season 9. Thankfully, they just have a few more days to wait before they can watch it all unfold for themselves.
