The 90 Day Fiancé star’s immigration status was compromised after her divorce

On this past season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Larissa revealed that her green card process had been interrupted due to her divorce from Colt Johnson. After he canceled her affidavit of support, the reality star began worrying she could be deported. But she carried on with her life, posting regularly on social media while promoting the TLC show.

Toward the end of the summer, Larissa announced she was moving out of Las Vegas to her boyfriend, Eric Nichols’ hometown of Colorado Springs. But just as she packed up and headed out of Las Vegas in her moving truck, she was arrested by ICE.

She was released from federal custody after a few hours. And as she made her way to Colorado Springs, she reached out to worried fans on social media to tell them she was OK.

TLC fired Larissa before her arrest

In mid-September, just as her 2020 season of 90 Day Fiancé was coming to an end, Larissa did an hour-long lingerie show on CamSoda. The live stream earned her over $100,000, breaking records for the site. But days after appearing on CamSoda, the reality star was fired from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise.

“Dear friends and followers, I want to make a statement for you, I’m no longer a cast member of the show 90 Day Fiancé,” she announced on Instagram. “Because of my show with CamSoda, I was released from my contract with TLC by phone the day before ICE arrested me. I will continue producing content for my official channels on Instagram, OnlyFans, and YouTube. Thanks for your understanding, love, and attention.”

Larissa suspects TV producers may have called ICE

In a recent chat with 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates, Larissa revealed details of her ICE arrest. She claimed that officers did not have the authorization to pick her up from her house, so they waited for her to leave her cul-de-sac and pulled her over as she headed out for Colorado Springs.

“They handcuffed me, and they took me to the officer’s car,” she said. “They claimed that I was here illegally, so they needed to see all my documents, all my employee authorization, to see if it was real or not, my social security.”

Larissa said that while the officers were kind and professional, she had a growing fear that she would be deported. At one point, she started imagining herself being greeted by her dad and daughter at the airport in Brazil. The reality star also noted that Eric was in tears during the ordeal, and he vowed to go to Brazil with her if needed.

When Yates asked who she believed called ICE, Larissa noted that she was picked up the day after TLC fired her. She then implied that the 90 Day production studio, Sharp Entertainment, may have had a hand in her arrest.

Larissa noted that she had been having problems with producers long before her CamSoda appearance. She said they had been pressuring her to film when she was unwell. And she claimed they wanted her to be combative with other cast members to make the show more dramatic.

The reality star was able to move past her ICE arrest. And she suggested she’s much happier now that she’s free from the pressures of filming 90 Day Fiancé
