Colt is in the middle of a love triangle on ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’

After his divorce from Larissa, Colt is now dating Jess, a Brazilian nanny who he met online. In the second episode of this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Colt goes to meet Jess in Chicago, and the two profess their love for each other.

However, Jess is wary of Colt’s friendship with a woman named Vanessa. She claims that he secretly texts her, and when asked about it, he insists they’re just friends. But on Episode 4, when Colt introduces Vanessa on the show, he admits that there is more to their relationship.

“I met Vanessa during the last few months of my marriage to Larissa,” Colt says. “We started talking online, and eventually we decided to meet at a casino, and we just kind of hit it off — I had sex with her, just one time, and honestly, I have a crush on her. I think she’s a great girl, but I don’t think she returns the favor, so I moved on.”

Larissa tries to convince Jess that Colt is up to no good

On a recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Larissa takes it upon herself to warn Jess about COlt. She calls Jess and tells her not to be fooled by Colt’s sweet demeanor.

“Jess, Colt is a demon,” says Larissa. “I know that everything is perfect with him from the beginning but he changed and he turned into someone mean you know?”

While Jess insists that Colt is a nice person, Larissa advises her to keep vigilant, especially when it comes to her immigration status. She then insinuates that Colt may be cheating on her.

“Just answer me some questions,” Larissa says. “Is Colt hiding his phone from you? Once in a while, you cannot see what he texts?”

Jess pauses and then replies, “Yes,” to which Larissa responds, “Congratulations, welcome to the club.”

Colt’s ’90 Day Fiancé’ co-stars Elizabeth and Andrei say he’s not as bad as people think

In a recent chat with Sarah Fraser for her Hey Frase Podcast, Elizabeth and Andrei talked about their experience on the series, and how they feel about the current season. When the host asked them about the show’s stars, and specifically called Colt out for texting dozens of women, the couple defended their 90 Day Fiancé co-star.

“Speaking of Colt, I have a separate idea about him,” said Andrei. “I think, you know, as a single man, he can do whatever he wants because he’s a bachelor. He had a broken heart over his first experience…she was like a character.”

“Colt’s a really sweet guy,” added Elizabeth. “He’s always been sweet toward us. I don’t have any issue with him. I think he’s just definitely struggling in the love department.”

Andrei also addressed some of the criticisms Colt gets for living with his mom, Debbie. Some viewers have called him a momma’s boy, but Andrei suggests that it’s not necessarily a bad thing.

“The fact that they’re giving him hate, if you want to say that, about him living with his mom,” says Andrei, “I can say, if he wants to take care of his mom, it is what it is.”

Fans will get to see more of Colt’s story as this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After unfold. New episodes air Sundays on TLC.
