90 Day Fiancé star Tania Maduro has been put on blast by fans of the franchise after how she’s been treating Syngin Colchester on the show. So far, they haven’t been impressed with the way she communicates, or rather, doesn’t communicate, with her South African lover. And after she told Colchester that he’s not her soulmate, things have only gotten worse.

However, Tania Maduro made an interesting post on her Instagram story, one that seems to suggest what we see of Syngin Colchester isn’t necessarily always true. Fans, however, aren’t so sure what to believe.

Fans have been generally shocked by Tania Maduro’s behavior on 90 Day Fiancé. Notably, fans were outraged when Maduro decided to take a 30-day trip to Costa Rica. This 30 days would account for one-third of Syngin Colchester’s time available on his 90-day visa.

Colchester was, of course, upset to see Tania Maduro go. Things got worse when Maduro refused to call Colchester at the end of her night and let him know she was safe, and say goodnight. In Maduro’s opinion, this was too needy of Colchester.

It seemed to many fans as if this was rock bottom for the 90 Day Fiancé couple. But they were wrong. When Tania Maduro returned, she and Syngin Colchester when to an astrologer to have their compatibility read.

She told them they had great natural compatibility and asked them if they felt as if they could be soulmates. Colchester admitted that he did not previously believe in soulmates, but that Tania Maduro changed his mind.

Meanwhile, Maduro told Colchester, “I don’t think I have that full soul mate feeling.” She went on to reveal that she thinks her soulmate was her first love.

Colchester replied, “I can’t deal with this bullsh*t.”

Since then, fans have been wondering if Tania Maduro and Syngin Colchester are going to last. After the reading, Colchester told Maduro that he needs a break. It’s unclear where that’s led since then, but Maduro recently made a post to her Instagram story that seems to be casting aspersions on her 90 Day Fiancé lover.

She wrote on her story, “To have someone (not a fan) see us not during filming. And ask ME if I’m okay, because what he saw in real life wasn’t right – is so….so…feelings I need to process.”

The message seems to imply that a bystander saw the two having some sort of altercation, and felt the need to ask Maduro if she was okay.

‘90 Day Fiancé’ fans react

90 Day Fiancé fans haven’t been entirely sure how to react to Tania Maduro’s Instagram post. Some fans have been left simply confused, while others have been taking Maduro’s post with a grain of salt based on her past behavior.

One user, who clearly isn’t a fan of Maduro, wrote, “She’s always trying to control what people think about Syngin. She tells us she’s actively working on having him unlearn being a racist so we’re on guard with Racist Syngin but then we never see evidence of it. She tells us that Syngin is lazy and won’t work and bad with money so we see him as a teenager. But then we learn that he worked in mines for nearly a decade and after he worked bartending and he’s willing to work any job and he’s not willing to use money they don’t have to take random classes while Tania is willing to use money they don’t have to take a 30-day vacation. Now she’s trying to subtly tell us that Syngin is abusive in some way.”

Another user added, “Is she insinuating that Syngin does her wrong behind the camera?? I know that reality tv doesn’t show everything but I don’t buy this b*tch one second…. she went from posting all these cute stuff with him after his live ig and then to trying to tarnish his image?? Girl…. I think she’s just embarrassed with all the backlash she’s getting. I hope Syngin really did free himself from this witch [sic].”
