But while Brittany was in America finalizing her divorce, Yazan dealt with all kinds of issues with his family. In a recent episode, Yazan broke down and revealed the emotional cost of fighting to keep his relationship with Brittany.
Yazan’s parents confronted the ‘90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ couple
When Brittany was in Jordan with Yazan earlier this season on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, she sat down to talk to his parents. They expressed their disapproval of her revealing social media presence and tried to pressure her to convert and marry Yazan right away.
“We don’t accept my son to even be in an amorous relationship or even a romantic one with…I mean, with all due respect, so you’re still on social media, and you still are, as you are,” Yazan’s father said. “Cancel all of this. Cancel all the life you’ve been living, and you would marry Yazan.”
When Yazan’s mom started criticizing her, Brittany tried to explain her side of things. But when she began yelling at her in Arabic, the reality star grew frustrated.
“I’m not from here,” Brittany said through tears. “I don’t understand what’s going on. And I can’t speak this language, and I don’t know this culture. I’m sorry that I wasn’t born in Jordan — I’m sorry that I don’t know Islam. I’m sorry that I can’t speak Arabic, I’m sorry that I’m not good enough for Yazan. Like, I don’t get it. I’m sorry.”
Yazan’s was kicked out of the house and family business
While Brittany was in America sorting out her divorce details, Yazan was in Jordan dealing with his parent’s wrath. In a recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, he chatted with his best friend, Mohammed, and revealed that his father kicked him out of the house and the family business.
He said that some of his family members sent his dad pictures from Brittany’s social media in which she is “wearing revealing clothes.” His father insisted Yazan forget about Brittany. But when he refused to let her go, his dad told him to leave.
On ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way,’ Yazan reveals how his family hurt him
Recently on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, as Yazan waited for Brittany to return to Jordan, he told producers how hard life has been since he was kicked out. He noted that things had gotten worse with his family. And he said that some of the closest people to him were spreading disturbing rumors about him and Brittany.
“They are saying that Brittany and I are already living together and are married, we had sex, they say we created pornographic movies,” Yazan revealed. “These are all lies.”
Worried that his parents would believe the rumors, Yazan met up with his brother, Obaida, to clear things up. He told him that it was “upsetting and hurtful” to hear all the things that were being said, but he wanted his father to stand by him in his decision to be with Brittany.
After Obaida met with their father, he told Yazan that he would be killed if he continued the relationship. He encouraged his brother to leave Brittany for his own good.
“I am in a situation with pressure that is more than any human being can handle,” Yazan then told producers. “I’m fighting for her. I am making excuses for her. I am doing the impossible to save our relationship — I can’t make any wrong decisions because it might destroy my life.”
