’90 Day Fiancé’ Translator Confirms Yazan’s Father’s Murder Threat
90 Day Fiancé couple Yazan and Brittany Banks have been stressing fans out. They can’t seem to decide who is in the right, if anyone, when it comes to their relationship. Yazan’s parents are not a fan of Banks, and his father even threatened Yazan with death. Many fans have been criticizing Banks for seemingly not caring about how their relationship affects Yazan at home. Others have pointed out that Yazan knows his own culture and family better than anyone, and so he has no right to be surprised or complain about what’s gone down. Among all of that, a translator and interpreter on the show recently confirmed that the murder threat was legitimate.
Yazan’s parents are against his ’90 Day Fiancé’ relationship
Yazan’s parents have a very different lifestyle from Brittany Banks, and seemingly, their own son. Banks has a strong social media presence, which sometimes includes revealing photos of herself. On an episode of 90 Day Fiancé, his parents told Banks to change her ways.
“We don’t accept my son to even be in an amorous relationship or even a romantic one with…I mean, with all due respect, so you’re still on social media and you still are as you are. Cancel all of this. Cancel all the life you’ve been living, and you would marry Yazan,” his father told Banks.
She was obviously not happy with this. She made it clear to Yazan that she doesn’t want to spend time with his parents again.
Later, Yazan stood up to his father regarding his relationship. He was kicked out of the house, and also lost his job at the family business.
“I spent the first night at my uncle’s. After that, I had to stay on the street for two days. Then I rented an apartment and looked for work. I don’t talk to anyone. I spend time alone. I swear, Mohammed, this has been the most difficult, truly the most difficult time I’ve been through,” he told his friend.
’90 Day Fiancé’ translator confirms the threat
Unfortunately for the 90 Day Fiancé star, getting kicked out and losing his job wasn’t the end of his worries. Yazan’s father felt fed up with the situation, and threatened his own son’s life as a result of his relationship with Brittany Banks.
“I swear, tell Yazan I will be his murderer,” Yazan’s father said.
Later, one of Yazan’s friends told Banks, “There are people who genuinely hate him, and they might try to kill him.”
During a recent episode, fans met Adam Lebzo, TLC’s interpreter and translator in Jordan. Fans quickly came to love the translator for the quality of his work, sense of humor, and his willingness to engage with fans of the show.
Lebzo answered a few questions on Reddit, including one about the threat of murder.
“So when his father said he would kill Yazan, was the interpretation correct in that he would literally kill him or figuratively kill him?” asked one user.
“It was correct,” Lebzo replied.
Brittany Banks suggests Yazan is playing both sides
Meanwhile, Brittany Banks has uploaded and deleted two posts to her Instagram that have suggested Yazan is playing both sides, or trying to please everyone. The 90 Day Fiancé star uploaded a screenshot of texts between her and Yazan prior to her arrival in Jordan.
“Yeah. But I do not care about [my parents’] opinion. What I care about is me. To be happy. I can manage all my things myself. … That’s why I want to live with you and you alone. I want to start [a] new life with you,” he wrote in part.
Banks later uploaded a video of the two dancing and drinking in a club in Jordan, which she quickly deleted.
“I want this season to be over faster than he finished that Jack and Coke in the club this night. He LOVES when y’all not watching so we can be ourselves. Take a shot for us! Watch until the end,” she captioned the post.
